Can niquid be frozen?

I know I'm to store it in a cool, dry, dark place. I just received 4 bottles of 36 mg so I'm stocked with raw material for quite some time. (Now I'm just waiting on my mixing bottles!) Can I freeze the ones I'm not likely to use for a while?

I keep mine in the fridge, so far so good. I have a 20ml of 36mg unflavored that is 2 mos old and is still fresh as the day I got it. I also like to drip sometimes cold juice straight out of the fridge. This seems to have a very good flavor to it when I do this.

most dealer say just keep out of sunlight, the cool stuff is not necessary

I think he's wondering what I am now. Since nic juice seems to have an expiration date of sorts, whether taking larger supplies of nic juice and freezing them might stretch out their life. Since most of the items in nic juice are food-grade ingredients I would guess yes.

Gonna have to try this when I get my 3ml sample bottles in -- I'll toss a ml or two in the bottle and freeze it for say, a week and see how it goes.

You'll have to let us know how it goes. It would be nice to know I could order a large bottle of unflavored, freeze it, and simply let it thaw in the fridge for a day before I use it to mix up a week's worth at a time.

I didn't think VG or PG would actually cool to the point of freezing to a solid...could be wrong tho, I often am.

You're absolutely right. A PG or VG based liquid will not freeze solid. I have many reagents at work (where I'm a mad scientist, literally) that are in those sorts of bases, and they are stored in the freezer. Keeping them cold slows oxidation and degeneration of active chemicals. That's what the benefit is.

Yep, hard to freeze pure PG...-76ºF. Of course, the lower the percentage of PG in a solution the higher the freezing point.

Do any of u chemists know if freezing the juice will extend it's shelf life past the 2 yr. expiration date? Say maybe 3-4 yrs.
