Here we go again! Exploding e-cigs will cause the end of the world! I love how he said in the article that he's back to smoking "normal" cigarettes now. You mean the ones with a gazillion chemicals in them that are known to cause or contribute to a myriad of health problems? THOSE normal cigarettes? I'll take my chances with exploding batteries. Or maybe we should outlaw batteries!

I did a quick google search for exploding cell phone batteries. I get the impression it's a problem with cheap batteries. But I'm also under the impression that the majority of exploding e-cig batteries has been among mods, e-cigs using multiple batteries, etc. Nothing's 100% safe, but I still think e-cigs are a whole lot safer than tobacco. How many people have been killed by their e-cigs? How many people have been killed by tobacco cigarettes? I'll take my chances with my e-cig!
