I'm fixing to place a fairly large order at MBV for their DIY Flavorings...can't beat their prices for Flavorings...2.99 for a 15ml bottle! Anyhow...I know I need an Atomizer to try out my juices that I will be making. I'm really wanting to order one from MBV because I'm up to the amount for Free Shipping. I'm just confused on what to get..none of them really on that site has good reviews...so would I be better off on going to another Vendor and ordering one from there?

MBV does have this one called Smoktech Bridgeless Atomizer...but what is a Bridgeless Atomizer mean? Would this one be a good starter one, or not?

If not, could anyone suggest an Atomizer from My Vape Store...I've ordered from them a couple times in the last week and you can't beat their shipping times!!

Also..does the Atomizer just screw in the top of your battery where your tank normally goes...then you just put a few drops of juice in there and Vape, right? When you buy an Atomizer, it comes with everything you need to use it, right? I've just noticed people saying on different brands, don't forget to buy a drip tip...so do I need one of those as well??

HELP!!!

I'm no expert, but yes, a dripping atomizer screws in to your battery where the tank goes. If you have cartomizers, you already have a drip tip, but if you're using clearomizers, those tips likely won't fit, but every dripper I've bought came with a black plastic top cap that will fuction as a lip shield, if nothing else - I just pull the cap off to drip, then put it back in to vape. Read this & bookmark it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rto-tank-what-juice-delivery-attachments.html. The section on atomizers is really short, with a link on a video tutorial of how to use. I say bookmark it because there's great information about all juice delivery systems. It helped me imensely when I was first starting out!

Good luck with your DYI juice!

A bridgless atomizer is missing the piece of mesh that usually contacts the cartridge. It allows you to drip juice into it directly onto the heating element. This is good and bad for a few reasons- Good is you can typically clean them and switch flavors for dripping VERY easily as they don't retain much liquid. Also excellent for dripping due to the open heating element. These are bad because they don't hold much liquid at all, you can get 1 or 2 good puffs before they go dry. Depending on the build quality a dry burn can ruin some of these atomizers.

EDIT- Drip tips are basically required for this type of atomizer as you won't be using the cartridge and you'll want easy access to put a few drops down the hole. Delrin or Stainless steel are inexpensive and typically don't impart any odd flavors like some of the cheaper plastics can. Just make sure you wash any new drip tip with some hot water to remove any machine residue from the factory.

Considering you haven't been doing this long it would be a good tool to taste test as long as you realize its not something you will want to use outside of your mixing station.

After you get a better handle on vaping and mixing you could eventually upgrade to some of the beefier battery mods with some of the rebuildable dripping atomizers (Check out the IGO-L and the IGO-S). These are for advanced users and can make standard batteries go bad if improperly rebuilt but serve the same purpose as the bridgeless in a bigger package that is cheaper to maintain.
