Seems to be some new tank with airholes at the top; 3.5ml capacity.
Its not a cartomizer.

Has a refillable cartridge; kind of seems like an upgrade to the eGo-C system. I like the airflow.

Please note that this version (Type B) is NOT recommended for use with Joyetech eVic Control Heads. However, IT IS RECOMMENDED for use with the Joyetech eVic Easy Head. The Type B version WILL fit and function with Joyetech eVic Control Heads however your device will not appear as aesthetic. The Type B version is recommended for use with "most" eGo style batteries and 510/eGo threaded APVs / MODs.
The Joye ECA Tank - eVic Changeable Atomizer (Type B ) is the latest development of the "eGo-C style" changeable tank atomizer head system.
Tank Atomizers feature a fluid feed system with use of a fillerless style tank cartridge.
The included ECA Tank Cartridge can store about 3.5mL of E-Liquid inside it's reservoir.
The ECA's tank cartridge is designed with two top airflow passages which provides a smooth draw and helps prevent leaking issues.
The ECA makes use of the same high quality Joyetech eGo-C Atomizer Heads that are used in the eRoll, the eCab, and the eGo-C series.
The Joyetech ECA is built to disassemble into five (5) parts (tube, head base, head housing, atomizer head, and tank cartridge) to allow you to easily clean and replace your Atomizer heads.
The "Type B" version of the Joyetech ECA is 510 threaded and is recommend for use with 510 / eGo threaded APVs ( MODs ).
This version is also compatible for use with "most" eGo threaded batteries however, we rececommend using a sleeve cone for to cover the outside threads and to provide a more aesthetic look.

I'm still using the ego-cc's daily. The type A heads just won't die!

So this ECA Kit Type B uses the ego-c type B head.
Kent, what's the difference between the type A and B head?

Type A has three slots in the inside of the spike. Type B has one slot at the top. See:

Didn't find a picture of the Type B at that time but here's one:

It's been the Type A's that are used in the eRoll and the eGo-cc. Some knockoffs have no slots.

So by all rights the type A should work in this new ECA topper then, hmmmmm........

The eGo-CC has worked so well for me....... dammit, enabled again!

ETA: Interesting, can't find any mention of the ECA on the Joyetech site.

ETA, again: Nevermind, I did find the thing on their site. Apparently comes in both type A and B flavors.
Is this Evic ECA new?

Uh... yeah.... why they named these 'Type A' and Type B' is puzzling. It has nothing to do with their earlier naming. Here the types are sizes of the atty body - type A is longer and type B is shorter. Both use the type A atty head :) And the ECA does have a plastic tank unlike the eGo-cc.

Joyetech ECA - eVic Changeable Atomizer Type A
Joyetech ECA - eVic Changeable Atomizer Type B

The diameter is for the eVic not the eGo, although with a sleeve you could use it on an eGo - like the bigger protank, vivi nova, etc.

Joyetech eVic Changeable Atomizer (ECA)

The ECA has been around a while.... 4/13.
