So this coming friday I'm going to buy a new mod! This is going to be my first mechanical and rba.. I've been searching around the internet for explanations on how exactly the ohms and the wire work. Can anyone explain it to me? I am really curious and I don't wanna just blow up my new mod! Thanks!
each grade/gauge of wire has a known resistance per inch of wire. kanthal A-1 32 gauge has a resistance of 1.2ohms/inch (approximate). if you are building a 1.8ohm coil use 1.5inches of 32 gauge.
