Hey guys,

As i mention in alot of posts ive been vaping 5 years but just coming back to ecf and becoming an ecf addict again after 4 years away. Hey there could be worst things i could be doing.

I guess my question is ya know how there are rolex's made by rolex, and there are copies of rolexs that can be spotted a mile away bought for 10 bucks and ruined with a drop of rain, and then there are rolex copies that run 200-300 bucks (compared to 5,000) that for all intensive purposes are almost as good as rolex or least half as good and will hold up for a bit.

Question would be who are the 10 buck clone vendors
And.
Who if anyone make the decent clones: the 300 dollar "rolex" s

Is it true that fast tech clones are horrible ? I imagine the answer i will get is that it all depends on which model you get? Are some of there stuff good?

FastTech sells a lot of great stuff. They also sell some stuff that might need a little tweaking, and bits here and there that should have been recycled in China, rather than getting sent here first.

When in doubt, read the Discussions (NOT the reviews!) The discussions are where you will find the real details about what is good or bad about a specific product. (You can read the reviews, but I've never found them that informative.)

FastTech has a number of excellent mech mods in the $18-$30 range, and some clunkers there too. Nothing worthwhile for $10.

Great tips, info, and sharing. Thank you ---- i spent thousands and thousands in my infancy of vaping 5 years ago. My financial situation has changed since then and even if it hadnt there is no reason to piss money away. Thats why i like to promote good vendors with friends and ecf- everyone should make a buck but the gauging done in this industry is still amazing. Thank you for your help, each one of you

Vaperoyalty has overpriced mark ups. FT has amazing prices if your patient with shipping speed. I personally get clones from US for few extra bucks more. Ebay or these 2 shops. Sunny Vaping LLC - Vape to a Sunnier Day 101 Vape

Yes, sorry, I should have said that I was just using Vape Royalty as sort of a reference as to what clones were out there. They have a decent line up, but I always shop around for pricing. I was using it as a starting point to see what sort of mech I might want, and then doing further research on prices from there. Thanks for the link to Sunny Vaping. I'd looked at them before, but forgotten them.

For reference, Fasttech Sells Everything from Bargain Basement Toss/loss to extremely high Quality copies and Authentic manufacturer equipment.
One needs to realize several things.
Cheapest Deal and Top quality rarely go hand in hand. Shop mid-level for a bit of both
Reviews can be extremely helpful - If not sure let a Few ECF members buy/try/report back before deciding

No two people will necessarily get the same exact results. We are not the same and manufactured products have variances as well as occasional defects.

Also remember - Purchasing state side simply means you are willing to pay extra for the middle man to have the exact same item stocked and faster delivery.(often at additional cost)

My take is, I support many US Venders - where they have unique items, good deals, reasonable shipping, or specialty supplies. I have no reason to give hard earned money to any Vender charging 3-4 time the price and adding Shipping fees.
B&M Business maybe 2-2.5x
On-line Venders (mostly Part timers - working out of Garage/Basement) 1.5x Max Full timers 1.75x Max

There is a Difference between Supporting US Business and carelessly Feeding would-be Entrepreneurs hard earned income.

Just like with your Rolex, what you get is more important than where you get it. The whole idea behind cloning is that the exact same item can be produced & marketed for less. If it isn't exactly the same as the origional, it's a cheap kock-off, and not a true clone.

I can only say that I'm happy enough with the HCigar clones that I haven't bothered to even look at any of the others. I have both the brass Chi, and the combination Nemmy. I will say that with the Nemmy, I had to get the FatDaddy magnets & contact screws to make it work the way I wanted (but it's the same with the origional, I would need the FatDaddy stuff)

So well said crx - especially about us vendors and supporting them. (Someone who creates something new stateside and uses their creativity and sweat and maybe has to borrow money and take big risks to get his company going they should be will compensated and supported)

Im aware of the markups state side with online n B$M markups thx for reminding me and thats why im not a huge fan of us vendors rebranding stuff from china with huge mark ups - anyways youu said it alot more eloquently then i did and that is great info for all -

When it comes to buying clones reviews are king, and google is your friend! There are plenty of excellent, well made clones out there, you just have to know how to spot them. Also, choosing clones by manufacturer is a good idea. Hcigar and EHpro are both known for the very good quality of their clones. Tobecco, and Rainbow Heaven can be a hit or miss.

I have yet to purchase a piece of crap clone (mech mods and RBA's), in fact I couldn't be happier with my clone purchases .. but I also don't jump on the first thing I see, I believe in research. Sometimes you will not be able to find out the name of manufacturer for a particular clone, but you can always google the clone and check for reviews from anyone who has purchased it.
