I would really appriciate if somone explained this to me. I want to know how long Cr123a batts are supposed to last, what charger they are supposed to go in, and if they are pretty much the same thing as 16350's. I ahve had a problem with a vendor who sent me all DOA batts.. SO I ordered from COV, and I love his site, and everything else, (like cartos) came perfect. But the Cr123's a 3.0v,s are not lasting long at all. One even died after an hour of use. Would this happen with a new battery? What are the best batteries, long lasting batteries? I am just so fed up with failing at batteries. I would like to know the best battery for 18650, and 16350's or rca123's, and the best vendor to get them from. How long are they supposed to last, and what there max and lowest charge volts are. What charger's they are compatable with, and if there is just one charger that can charge all different batteries. I know this is a lot to ask, I am just tired of it and would love if somone could help me out here. Any advice would be VERY MUCH appriciated.. :)

Let me ask you this: What mods are you needing batteries for?

I'll start by answering your question about the 3V battery. These are generally stacked to achieve 6V vaping. If you're only using a single batt, life is going to be brief. I can generally get about 3-4 hours out of 2 of them stacked at my vape pace. They take a special 3V charger. Madvapes and batteryjunction carry them.

Answer my question on the types of mod(s) you're using please so everyone can get you fixed up.

SuperTmanufacturing carries all these batteries and more plus chargers. They could answer all your question quickly. I would just send them an email. They will be happy to help you.

Yes, your cr123's or RCR123a batteries should last more than an hour but it depends on what voltage you are using and what carto resistance you are using. LR cartos and high voltage will drain your batteries faster than SR cartos at lower voltages. Hope this helps.

I am using the indulgence and the Don. And yeess I was talking about stacking 2 cr123a's for 6-7v's; which arent lasting as long as a I hoped for. So 3v batts DO need a special charger? I thought that I had a universal charger that could charge them all..(I also thought there was a charger out there that had a switch that could do both)? I also don't understand what different mah's do. If you have a lower mah is it higher drain? @ 6v's I am using duel and triple coils. At 3.7v's I am using lr cartos. If somone could tell me the best, long lasting batts to use in the above sizes, that would be soo helpful. All of my cr123a's are 500 mah. Super-t is Amazing at awnsering questions! Also, rdtvapor seems to have a great batt selection, and since they worked for hairball, I'm sure their batt qualities are high standard; I will definitly check them out. What charger should I be using? Thanks again!

Here's a chart that will give you some idea about how long batteries will last you.

One other thing, trustfire and ultrafire falsify their mah ratings on batteries. Example: 2400mah is actually 1200mah. Why they do this other than to get your money is beyond me. I would rather has a manufacturer be honest...that's why I stick to AW black jacket w/silver label and red jackets. You pay more for them but in the long run, they're better batteries.
