Can someone recommend me a mech mod clone, based on personal experience?

Right now, I'm using my first and only mech mod - A Magneto clone from fast tech.

I'm looking to get a second mech mod, and would like suggestions.

There is really nothing I"m looking for specifically. I would prefer something from hcigar or EHpro, I want magnetic switches (if it comes with spring thats fine, as long as magnet upgrades are available that I can order at the same time).

I'm eyeballing the hcigar Nemesis + magnet upgrade....

For anyone who has experience with various Hcigar and/or EHpro mech mods....is there any you prefer? Any you recommend?

If you're considering the Nemesis, the Stingray would do you much better. For me, it's everything the Nemmy should've been. It's got a wider contact area, with stock magnets. Looks sleek as hell too.

Had bad luck with nemesis switches even with magnets. The chi you on the other hand rocks out loud!

How about the stingray clone? Pretty much a solid performer all the way around from looks, to the floating 510 connector, to the slim nemesis style switch with magnets. plus you can currently get it in brass with SS accents brushed or polished, SS brushed & polished and the soon to be released black copper and then soon after that all copped and 26650 mode.

Lots of people are liking the Hcigar Stingray.

They're running about $45 on Ebay.

Nemesis hits great and looks great. But that switch is the biggest POS ever, IMO. That cheap locking ring puts it over the top.

My favorite clones are the brass sentinel m16 clone and astro clone.

I seem to have a personal preference for non bottom button mods. So in my personal opinion I've been having a wonderful experience with the Smoktech(sp?) Natural mod. Using it with a Kayfun and have had any issues for the past 2 weeks I've been using it.

I have King, Neme, Caravela, and Natural. The best imo is the HCigar King. SS or Brass both are awesome. Stingray will be my next mech mod for sure.

Hcigar nemesis. Lackluster button and lockring
Very rugged mod though, u wont feel bad getting it scratched etc

Tbh the EHPRO cronus clone hits way harder (less vdrop) floating 510, insanely beefy button and a great lockring system
Caution you will need a .9 allen key or .7 cant remember seeing as i use a paper clip to back out the lock ring posts every few weeks. Just watch a video review and youll see what i mean.
Ive hit many mods and have experience with alot of Them as well (stingray is great too) but due to the battery options the cronus can accept and its ease of use really make it number one on my list.
There is also the hades v2 and 26650 option. The vdrop issue is almost non existant with it now and 50amp sonys in it make it an incredible mod. Maybe with a patriot On top?

Can you set a stingray Clone up with a heavy atty say kfl, without using the safety?
Can you add magnets if you can't with the stock ones, what is the best ray Clone?

Infinite turtle ship v2 is wonderful. If I buy anymore clones... they will be infinite, until I hear or see anything negative about them.

Thanks everyone for recommending the sting ray. I think I'll go with it. Upon further inspection, it has everything I want in a mech mod.

My question is, which clone should I get? There is a tobeco one, an Hcigar one, and probably more.

I really like EHpro and Hcigar over other clone companies, so unless I hear otherwise, I'll probably go with Hcigar. Any thoughts?

Infinite's is hands-down the best one after trying out both the Tobeco and HCigar versions.

I personally don't like the solid look of most mods, like the Nemesis and Stingray. I went with a Panzer clone from FastTech and got the R1004 magnets from SuperMagnetMan. Everything is working out perfectly.
