Hi guys,

Love, love, love my mvp. I think mech mods are awesome looking, but don't want to screw around with battery dangers and Ohm's law (yet). I'm intrigued by all the new dna 30 mods coming out. I usually vape a single coil between 1-1.5 ohms on my kayfun lite at about 3.5-4 volts on my MVP 1 (I don't have the 2 with the variable watts function).

What advantages do these dna box mods have? "more power" I guess, but what does that mean? Considering the ohms and power I usually vape, would I be better off sticking with my MVP?

Thanks!

    Yeah, more power.

Also, the DNA boards adjust in Wattage, not voltage. Which doesnt mean any different vape, its just a different way of going up and down with the power. Some people obsess over which is better, volts or watts.. but truthfully it doesn't matter. Whether you set the voltage yourself, or use a VW device to estimate the voltage for you, in the end, you're still sending the exact same amount of power through the atomizer.

According to apparently the majority of users, most DNA board users, even though they could potentially use 20 or 30 watts, dont. They're using like 7-9watts. Apparently the amount of people using full 20-30watts, is similar to us subohm vapers.. meaning, a minority group of the owners.

There is also the topic of device build quality. There are some very awesome, hefty, beefy DNA mods out there. Even if you are going to use the same wattage settings found on a Vamo, that doesn't mean you have to have a junk tube from china(disclaimer, my first vape was a vamo), and thats where a DNA or Provari comes in. Used to be, Provari was the only game in town for american made, tough beast build quality in a regulated PV. Now, you have lots of options for DNA powered devices too. Im a Subohm, Mech guy, but even I like to have my Provari available to me, so when I want to vape regulated, I have a device as nice as one of my mechs. Im considering getting a DNA box for the same reason.

One such DNA powered device that fits that bill, is the Hana Modz. Im personally thinking of getting a Hana Modz mini DNA 30.

DC-DC input-output, but extremely hard to tell the difference of high frequency PWM from DC. 7-30watt output.. mechanical performance with safety features and steady output through out whole battery. It will fire down to 0.5ohm-3ohms. Most can be repaired easily by yourself, but most manufacturers offer a warranty and repair service.

It only goes down to 7 watts, so it would be taken in better by more if it could do around 5 watts. MVP's are only $40... DNAs don't have an output charger for phones and stuff.
