Hello! I have the standard Joye 510 from Cignot. Like most, I'm not a fan of the battery life, and after about 10-15 puffs, I feel like the power starts to decline. I was researching the EGo and have a few questions. Will the starndard 510 carts and atomizers work with the EGO battery? I thought I saw some kind of EGO atomizer cover for it? Basically, I'm trying to keep coasts down, and work with what I already have. Lastly, will any of my chargers work with the EGO? As always, thank you!

One more thing, this looks like a great deal, has anybody gotten it?

Hi! Yes it can use standard 510 anything except for the charger. You need a separate eGO charger.

Or you could just get the eGo USB Passthrough, which you can plug into your computer (and car cigarette lighter with a USB adapter...which is very cheap), OR you can unplug and go! It works both ways, and can already be used with all your "stuff" (except the regular 510 charger...but you don't need it!).

Lots of pretty colors too...and don't forget to click the upper left for the 20% discount, which makes it $20.79.

You don't even need the cone, I don't ever use mine. All you really need is the eGo battery and an eGo charger. When I upgraded from a 510 to an eGo I ended up deciding to just get a complete eGo set for a couple of reasons;

--I figured I would need to get new batteries eventually and it would bug me to only have one eGo battery and have to use the 510 while it was charging 'cause what if it takes longer to charge than to drain a 510 battery.
--If I got the eGo battery and the necessary charger, the total is already about $40, you can get a complete eGo set for not much more than that.
--You can't have too many atomizers anyway.

**technically, you can use the 510 charger if you buy a $5 adapter for it, but it will take forever to charge an eGo battery on it. The eGo battery charger only costs like $15 I think.

if you go to liberty flights you can pick up a 510 riva kit for around 30 bucks and they are nice. Good bat life at 750mah and I prefer the button on the riva over the button on an ego

D'oh, I just ordered the EGO, thank you though, and you answered one of my questions. I didn't see a choice of manual or auto battery, so I'm assuming that the EGO is manual?

Correct. The eGo, Riva & all others of their ilk are manual. BTW, if you ever find the 650mAh batteries to be too short-lived, you can always pick up any of the larger types, like this one: Riva 1300mAh Extra Battery. They'll work with your eGo/510 stuff.
THANK YOU, I've been going nuts since I ordered it making sure that it was manual. Wow, that is one long lasting battery, chances are I'll get it in the future. thanks again.

hi guys,

newbie here. I just bought an ego passthrough 650mah battery. It didn't came in with a wall charger. I have a couple of usb wall charger here but im just not sure if its safe to use on my ego. One of the charger's details says input: 100-240V AC50-60Hz Output: DC 5.0V 1000ma+-5% and the other charger says input: AC 100-240V 50/60hz 120mA output: DC 5.0V 500mA.

Can i use both of these wall chargers on my ego passthtough 650mah batt?
