Can the Maxx Fusion batteries be overcharged?

leaford can answer more accurately but i have had my batts for about a month now.... and i have not had an issue with overcharging...leave mine on overnight multiple times.....have had it in the past with batts so I know what you mean.... basically the light will go from red to green when fully charged and 10 min after that the blue LED will go out basically turning the batt off....
I worry about leaving them on the charger at night when I sleep. I know that some rechargeables can get ruined from overcharging, and others won't. So I just wanted to check about these.

Pretty sure it says somwhere here that you could damage the chip if you leave'em in over 4 hours.. Think it was Leaford?

No, not at all. They are protected from overcharging by the IC. Unless of course it is defective, but I haven't run across or had any reports of any problems with overcharging.
