I have one, and that's basically how it works for me, except for #4 & 5. My red light comes on for just a couple seconds then goes back out. The battery blinks for a few then goes out. I was concerned about that but was told that's normal. So I really have no idea when it is done charging. I just wait about 3 hrs and figure it has to be done by now.

That doesn't sound right. I think I'd have sent that PCC back. It sounds like it's defective.

Mine does the same thing... that isn't right?

Use of the MaxxFusion PCC

1. Connect Computer or Laptop and charge fully (battery level displayed in the LED)
2. Connect Battery to PCC by screwing the Battery into the swivel connection port.
3. Press and hold button on PCC until the LED light blinks green several times.
4. LED light will turn red and the LED light on the battery will turn on.
5. Allow to charge until the red LED light goes out and the battery LED turns off.

I follow those instructions and it works for me.
I have the STANDARD PCC CASE (MAXX FUSION)
It looks just like the picture on the website. There is no button of which you speak. I've charged it for 24 hours. The top red light is on while connected to the wall adapter, however it turns off as soon as unplugged. It is not charging the ecig. Is there something I'm supposed to do with this model to make it begin charging?
PS I feel really stupid right now!!

Those are the instructions for the "regular" old-style PCC, not the new mini-PCC that slides open. The way you describe yours, it does sound like you have the "regular" old-style PCC.

There should be a very tiny button on the top left -- it almost looks like it is just a little raised round thing, a short distance above the indicator light. If the PCC is fully charged, you don't have to keep it connected to the computer anymore. Just start with step #2. You have to hold that tiny button down for several seconds until the little PCC light blinks green several times like it says in step #3; then that little light will turn red. In my experience the red light doesn't stay lit for very long, but the PCC is still charging the battery anyway. Sometimes my e-cig battery LED lights up and sometimes it doesn't, but it is usually charging anyway.

Also, if your e-cig battery doesn't need to be charged the PCC won't go into charging mode. I hope this helps. Good luck.
