Only been vaping seriously 1 month now. I steal a vape every once in a while at work. Is my boss going to be able to smell it? In the restroom? In my office?

Yea I guess I have to get unflavored for work. I was a closet smoker...now I'm a closet vaper.

BTW where do I get unflavored juice? Do I have to DIY?

Some e-liquids do leave a lingering odor.
You can buy those small inexpensive cans of body fragrances to fit nicely into your purse or pocket.
The small cans of Ozium are equally portable.
That way you can give a quick light spray to the area after a stealth vape in the restroom.
There is no smoke, so no worries there!
Here are a few links to things you would require for un-flavored e-liquids or diluting an e-liquid:
You can use this
Dilution Base Liquid - One Stop DIY Shop Store
with this
Graduated Cylinders - One Stop DIY Shop Store
or this
Catheter Tip Syringe - One Stop DIY Shop Store

These folks are great and so are the prices!

You will most likely want PG & VG and either a Graduated Cylinder
or the
Catheter-Tip-Syringe (has no needle & is very large).
I like the Catheter-Tip-Syringe because you can measure and mix it up easily by drawing up the amount (mL=cc) and then shake it up in the syringe and plunge it out into a bottle so easily with just the Cath-Tip-Syringe.
You may feel more comfortable with the Graduated Cylinder,
especially if you want to measure flavorings or e-liquids to mix with PG/VG,
it has a pour-spout.

If the question is, can people smell it? Many times they can. If the question is, are they offended by it? Usually they aren't. It the question is, will they know what you're doing just by the smell? Probably not.

Those are great answers & that lets me know what I need to do. Today I took a couple sneaky hits in my office with a watermelon vape. Now who could be offended by watermelon?

To add to what has been said already, I think it depends on the flavor as well.

For example, in my experience,

apple pie- yes, and they like it
menthol- yes or no, depends on if the person is/was a menthol smoker
watermelon- nope

I also think that it depends on how long you keep your vapor in your lungs. I noticed that when I stealth vape in class, I hold it longer so its not visible and I havent even gotten a look from a neighbor about it.

Just my findings :)

as of monday 07/16/2012, they banned smoking on the property.....i've been waiting about two weeks for my mod to show up because once i heard the rumor i figured i'd vape at work....however the other person who vapes at work was told he couldn't vape at work....even outside where he currently goes to vape

i haven't vapped but i could do stealth hits, the only problem is the place i work at has a lot of ppl, so i just don't want anyone to see the vape and mistake it as smoke...since i've seen videos on youtube of ppl vapin that looks like a huge puff of smoke

Now and then my family will comment on being able to smell my vapor. I had one juice I mixed about 3 or 4 different flavors and made it taste like pineapple upsidedown cake, when the kids walked through they ignored me and went straight to the kitchen. Then they came back to me but never said hi mom, instead it was where's the cake?

I vape in my office all day long. I just dont let clients know:) As for my boss she has walked in a few times while puffing away and all she had to say was that the vapor does appear to look like smoke if you did not know it was and ecig and to not let clients see. Until there is a company policy addressing ecigs I was free to do anything I wanted in my space that was within policy:) Some of my coworkers have vaporizers in their office (I live in a very dry climate) and I see no difference. Except mine tastes really good:)
