It's one of those Joye eGo batteries with a USB socket on the end for pass-through/charging. It's about three months old (in a regular rotation of two). It charges up fine. But, starting yesterday, I noticed it firing very irregularly: sometimes fine, sometimes delayed about a second after pushing the button, sometimes not at all. As far as I've noticed, the LED is turning on and off normally. (Two previous eGo batteries I had died of blown switches that started blinking perpetually.)
I'm reasonably confident that I've correctly traced the problem to the battery, cleaning contacts and swapping things out. (I lately always use it with an 808 carto and thread adapter.)
