Most likely been asked before. I'm new and not sure of the search words to find the answer.

Batteries, tanks, coils,,, all of it except juice. Is it all held up in customs ?. Far as i know, the hardware of e-cigs is all ok in Canada.

I have ordered hardware from Fastech in China. Prices are a lot cheaper-free shipping anywhere in the world. Batteries can be dicey though. Worse case scenario they get sent back and you get a refund. Just can't be in a hurry. Last order took 15 days, but can take up to a month. Check out the Fastech thread on this forum too. I don't have a problem getting juice from the US ( not Fastech) I'm sure others will chime in where they get their hardware from.

If it's just selection of gear you're after, canvape has most everything. If they do not have what you're looking for, most online outfits offer international shipping. I've gotten things from the US, the UK, Greece, and China with no problems - never juice, however (hey, with Jugheads in our country, why step outside the border?). Shipping is usually quite fast, with the exception of the ironically named Fastech.

I've been ordering from Smokeless Image (batteries, cartomizers, e-liquid) and haven't run into a problem yet, although my last order is taking a little longer to arrive than normal (day 9 now and the shipments are normally here within 7 days at most).

You can also drop into one of the Canvape locations, they have booths at five different flea market locations around the city but are only open on Saturday and Sunday.

can u order hardware from the united states to canada?

Why not? Most of my hardware cigs were bought from the US. Main reason was they're not available locally. I got them from Hoosier, Madvapes, Sweetvapes, Smoktek, and two others I'm still trying to recall. I sent orders not only once but multiple times. They all arrived in the mail. The wait range from two to four weeks. (Unless you want them right away, in which case you can go for Fedex or other faster carriers, but it's expensive.) Of course, there's always the risk of being seized by customs in both countries, but what can we do? That's why if you spend money on these things, just see it as a gamble. It may or may not come.

EDIT: That was in the past. I just bought and received stuff from Canvapes just recently, 2 separate orders.

anyone know if you pay customs with regular mail? (like the 9$ shipping from 101vape to canada) because i always thought it was just with ups/fedex,etc.

Import fees will depend on the price of the item and what the customs declaration slips states. Generally, anything under 80 dollars is duty free. Anything above that and you're supposed to pay import duty on it.

I'm tracking my Provari as it makes its way to Alberta, but I've never seen this status before. I nearly cried when it went from Seattle to San Francisco instead of heading north to Vancouver.

Should I be worried, or is this just the GST evaluation (and fee for evaluating whether it needs GST or not)?

Edit: Ignore this, somehow the package went back in time and was released by customs twenty minutes before it was held by them.
