Can VG Cause a slight vomit taste in the throat?

I've been vaping for a week now, using 100% VG with 24mg Nicotine and a very light Menthol flavor.

Starting last night, every time I'd exhale the vapor, I would taste a slight vomity flavor in the back of my mouth.

My throat isn't sore, and it's not acid reflux.

I'm thinking I'm going to add a bit more menthol to my mix to cover it, but I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience? Could this be caused by over-using the same Cartomizer? I've been using the same 3 all week, each has been refilled 4-5 times.

I don't have any PG fluid to test at the moment, but I don't remember having this flavor with the PG that came in the Cartos originally.

I can't say that I've ever had that happen. I doubt that it's caused by refilling your cartos because I have a few that I've refilled several times without any problems.

i havent had that issue either and i havent heard of anyone else complaining about it, if anything i would doubt its either the VG or PG but possible somthing in your juice...where did you get your juice from?

And it's not a singed burny taste? Some really thick VGs don't flow well through the stuffing in cartos. 4-5 refills alone should not be a problem, unless the stuffing got singed.

And if you are using any cream dessert flavors, I have heard some of those can go bad.

I'm thinking its a burnt filling in the carto... I just took one apart, and it was BLACK around the actual atomizer coil... The wick was burnt as heck.

Probably the problem, I think I'm going to Atomizers and cartridges now... Less problems.

You have to keep cartos moist so they don't get burnt and become useless. I always refill mine when the flavor changes or the amount of vapor starts dropping off. If you get a burnt smell or taste, then the filler is probably burnt and it isn't worth trying to fix it. Cartos are cheap enough to toss when they get like that.

I wish cartos worked well as dripping is a pain but all the melting and burning puts me totaly of the idea of them. I have not had a sicky taste from pg or vg and started vaping by using then neat and unflavoured to see what they were like.
