"Using the “boon or menace” rhetoric as a starting point for the dialogue doesn’t help anybody. After all, the verdict is still out over how prolonged first- or second-hand contact with e-cigarette vapor affects our bodies and brains. Instead, let’s take a look at what we do know:"

between here and there
I think ecigs failed him because he is vain. Maybe he should also research the alkaloids in real cigarettes as he mentions times he is too stressful to cope, so the nicotine may not be all he needs to successfully quit. Dunno. I think his returning to cigarettes is just to attract attention to himself. Again vain.
but to each their own.

It sounds like he needs to do a lot more growing up and start worrying less as to what he thinks are other people's perception of him vaping. I guess he doesn't get the sneers from other people when he lights up a cigarette, and if he does, he feels more warm fuzzies coming in.

I think he would feel winning the lottery would fail him because other people may think he doesn't deserve it. Sorry, I'm rambling...
