Atties and the tanks. The eGo is threaded 510, which means that any 510 part will fit on it: cartomizers, tanks, modded-tank-apparatus-super-thingies... whatever. If you're gonna get tanks, try to get genuine Joye; I've had the knock-off T atties go bad way more often than the genuine.

So, you'll have no problem-- many things work on the eGo battery; just try to stay above 2.0 ohms resistance so you don't prematurely shorten your battery's life-span-- especially if you have the short (650mah) battery.

You need Ego-T (or janty) tank atomizers and tanks. Try one tank atomizer and tanks first because only some people like the tanks. I think there are two tube sizes and I think type A is the narrow one that can only use small tanks and the type B is the wider one that can use small or large tanks? Not sure - I don't use them. Like most people, I use cartomizers.

Ego-T is like a magnet for new vapers. A marketing breakthrough. Not so much of a good vaping breakthrough. Some like the tanks but many have complained of leaks and lack of flavor. The atomizers seem to clog up pretty easily. Some people have burnt taste problems with some tank atomizers until they reposition the wick themselves. And you still have the normal atomizer issues of your flavors mixing in the atomizer, cleaning etc. except with attys that are probably even more expensive. But maybe you will be one of the people who love them.

But if you get one and don't like the tanks, you can always use normal atomizer and cartomizers. They are nice batteries with the 5-click enable/disable (at least on real Joye ones). And there are clear cartomizers of various kinds with no stuffing and you can screw with leaks and burnt taste on many of those too. Some work pretty well though, including some of the higher end carto tanks.

I agree with what has been written. I thought I'd love the tanks as well until I tried 'em for a few weeks. I found them to be fiddly and the TH, vapor and taste were very minimal. The saving grace is that you now have a great platform from which you can branch out to other (better) options.

I'm not sure about the Janty, but I think it's a 510 thread, so you can do lots of stuff with it. Just be sure to research before you do the tank thing. Also if it's a normal 510 thread without the cone thread that comes on the standard eGo batts, you'll need an adapter.

I use an eGo also. Just the normal one at present, but it did come with the T batteries, and I love them. Just ordered more t-batts and, among other things, some t-atty's and tanks from GH1. Will probably be at least a couple weeks 'till they get here, but will be interesting to play around with them and see if they work and are worth the trouble. If not, I figure I can always use them for backups if I'm ever in dire straights waiting on an order or backlog or something :p

Also have some bridgeless LR atty's coming. That's probably what I'm most excited to try :)

Let us know how you like the t setup if you do try it.

I have the tanks and they leak, but some will argue that they don't. Mine did. There are new tank caps made of silicone that are supposed to stop that. Many people swear by them.

If you decide to buy the tank, refill them before they get empty. Once they get down to the 1/4 level, they have a habit of flooding the atomizer. This doesn't happen if you keep them above that level.

Mine didn't leak, but they may have worked better if they had. :p

I have been reading the forums. I have been looking at the Janty tank, clearos, and dual coil carts. Which would be best for flavor and cost? Throat hit doesn't matter that much to me. I usually use 70/30 e-liquid.

If flavor and cost are your primary specs, I'd say go with the Boges from CCV. Here's a link...

IMHO, the new Fluxomizers are MUCH better, but a bit costlier. You'd do well to check them out and look up the "seal mod" for them. http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=66_88
