How would you describe the taste of a dry atty hit? I don't mean the wick is on fire dry, but just a hit where you forgot to ensure the wick was primed and took a big ol' hit.
The first thing you will notice is just a flavor shift, and this can be different with different juices so can't really be given a discription. The next hit will be what I call "raggy", no flavor and hot, and if you take another hit it will flat out burn your throat.
Most defiantly, and is the reason that different people like different atties.
Because most atties have a bridge covering the wick "wet" isn't something you can see, so wet equates more to the taste, and the amount of juice the atty uses.
