I am sad, because I read the forums here, watched Youtube videos, etc, before buying my SVD from Desert Vapes in Arizona. 1 week in and I started having problems. It turns itself off, won't always fire, stops firing mid draw, etc.

After some research on "SVD button problems" I found out that this is common. The button has bad contact underneath. Bunches of people are complaining. Problem is, you'd never know it until you know what to search for.

Desert Vapes gave me an RMA, to exchange, but I haven't had time, the shipping will prolly cost me $10, I have to buy bubble wrap and etc, and at this point, I am farily confident I'll have the same problems again with another SVD. I am thinking of trying to just fix it myself.

Does anyone know how to fix the button? I can't find any videos anywhere.

Keep in mind, this is not the problem with the oring on the 510 connection problem that there are videos for. This is a problem with the contact made by the button.

Got a bad one off the classies just to try to fix, mucked it up worse. After I got the top off and messed that up, figured I would pull out the board and make a mod, mucked that up also. IMHO it is not user fixable. I would just exchange it and hope for the best. I have had mine for several months and no problems so far (knock wood). Good Luck
