I filled a cartomizer with a juice that I always use. It was a cartomizer that I had used a couple of times before. It doesn't do anything. It is heating up but that's it. It's like it is filled with water.

Do the wires in the cartomizers get gunked up? I have been cleaning them with Polident.

Any suggestions on this. I didn't know if it was a sign that the thing had died or not.

To answer the title - yes, you can flood a KR8 cartomizer by when filling you get ejuice into the center hole in the filler. The best way to fill is to fill on an angle dripping ejuice on the metal part and letting it run and get soaked up by the filler. Rotating helps.

To fix you might just stand the carto upside down mouth piece on the bottom (perhaps with a paper towel under it) for a few hours.

I don't really understand how you are cleaning the 'wires'. The coil, which is what would get gunked up, is buried in the filler.
