can you freeze e-liquid?

isn't pg used in the 'pet-safe' antifreeze? if so, i'd figure it was the pg, too. i'd be interested to know if the liquid suffered any other ill effects from being at that low of a temp tho... if not, i might relocate my juice stash to the back porch freezer. (yes, i live in the boonies and have a freezer on my back porch. :p )

Yes, propylene glycol is used as antifreeze coolant for cars. It is gradually replacing ethylene glycol (the green stuff) because it is less toxic. By itself, it freezes at -59 C, or -74 F.

There are some pretty long threads on storage on these forums. The general idea seems to be that while excessive heat is bad, normal room temperatures seem fine. The bigger concerns are oxidation and contamination.
