can you overcharge a battery?

? I fried my charger by putting a battery in upside down. I've charged two 18650 2000mah imr batteries to 4.4 & 4.5 V. Are the batteries good or bad now?

When it comes to the safety of batteries, if you need to ask if they're good or bad, there's a 99.99% chance they're bad.
