Hi all,

sorry if this has been asked before but i can not find the answer. Both myself and my wife have just converted to vaping about a week ago and all going to plan. I use cartomisers for the ease of use as much as anything and have just received my first batch of eliquid to do some refills.

My question is can a refill half a dozen carts and then store them (replace the condoms) in one go ? is the flavour / juice going to deteriorate in the stored carts ?

The reason i want to do this is so my wife can have a supply of carts she can use without having to worry about refilling herself. I don't think she would cope with the hassle she just wants to pick up and go.

You should have no problems with that. They might dry out a little after several mos. I used to fill about 20/30 at a time with no probs and kept them with the condoms on in a plastic baggie. What type battery do you have? Might want to look into the tank systems, the vivi nova for 510 threaded equip is really easy to fill and clean and also much cheaper in the long run. You sure can. Smokeless Image even has these little cases for carrying your spare, pre-filled cartos in.

They would dry out eventually. But, if you keep them in condoms inside the above case (or even just in an empty pill bottle) they should last to make it through a few days with no problem.

You can, though I wouldn't recommend it. If you feel the need to do so besides the fact that e-liquid ages badly outside of the bottle then do replace the silicone booties (sometimes referred to as "cartomizer condoms"), that the cartomizer shipped in, back on to the cartomizer to lessen this factor. After all, many pre-filled cartomizers are stored, and subsequently sold, every day this very way.

I started with v2, called them on the phone, and they said yes, you can refill the carto's 3 times. I refill my carto's by dripping juice into the cap covers that comes with the new one's. Use the one that doesn't have the little tit inside it. Fill it approximately 2/3 full, then very slowly, push the empty cato down inside the cap cover. Watch to see if juice comes out of the top of the carto when you do this. Take a q-tip and wipe any juice away that does. Put the cap cover with the tit on the battery connector side of the carto, and it will store nicely that way. When you remove the cap cover, you need to wipe the juice that is on the outside of the carto.

Another method is to take a paper clip and remove the plastic cap on the carto. Drip juice onto the side wall, being careful not to drip into the center hole (about 12~15 drops), replace the end cap on the carto end, and you're ready to go.

thanks for all the advice! what a brilliant forum.

done a few refills tonight any tips on getting a good flavour there is a definite difference in the taste of the refills.

What juice are you refilling with? There are also other possible factors. Did you shake the e-juice bottle before using it? Did you let the juice age (they call it steeping here). There is a plethora of juices out there, you need to experiment on which flavors you like.
