Can you safely use ss wire in tc mode

Yes, I do it every day. Be advised different grades of SS have different TCRs. Your machine's SS mode might be, for example, set up for 304. If it is, and you use 316 wire (or 317 or 430 or whatever) the mod will be using the wrong algorithm. It will probably still work, but it won't be as accurate. For any of this to make a difference, you'll have to know what grade Uwell uses in their coil heads, and how your mod is set, and you still can't change it unless you mod also offers a TCR setting (many of the newer ones do, my Koopor Plus does, for example, and my RX200s with the Version 3.0 firmware.) Give it a try. It isn't likely to blow up, just maybe not work as well as you had hoped, plus SS can also be used in wattage mode so it won't be a total loss. And if none of what I told you makes sense, ping me and I'll explain about the TCR thing :)
