I was about to order some LR atty's from Drew and noticed that he also sells 510 cartomizers. I'd like to check those out because the first e-cig I ever used was a 2 piece & the flavor of the liquid was better than anything I've had since. Was just wondering if it's possible to use the cartomizer with the eGo battery (and maybe even the cover piece?).

Yes, they work...but. I got my 510 cartos and they were significantly shorter than a normal 510, which normally would be a good thing...but on the ego/Tornado with the cone on I sometimes end up blocking the air intake with my lips because of the shorter atty/carto. I also didn't much care for the paper-foam-cig-like casing around the attys, and if you take it off the carto has a super tiny diameter (I'm talking like 1/4 of a normal 510) and gets super hot to the lips. They work really well, though I'm still leaning towards 808's overall.

Just so you know... there are two different types of 510 cartomizers on the market now. The ones you mentioned above and then the newer ones that are more like the KR8s. There are a few vendors carrying them I believe, I know that LitecigUSA is one of them.

Thankyou. I'll be getting some to try when they get more blanks in stock. :D

Are they basically an 808 with 510 threads? Any idea how they perform compared to the smaller paper/foam surrounded 510's and a normal 808?

Personally I don't use cartomizers of any type anymore so I have not tried them. If you check the Litecig sub-forum though I know there are a couple of threads on there about peoples experiences with them.

Yes, you can and I do....But, to differ from other people,,,,and yes I can....The 510 is not like an Ego.....parts are the same,,,,but the Ego battery is much more powerfull...My wife has a Joye 510 and I have an Ego....so I know the difference, especially in the Hit and amount of vapor the two creates....Wife loves the 510 and of course I love the Ego...To each their own......Enjoy..and yes,,,,my opinion....
