Can you use RSST with eGo battery?

I have the passthrough 900mAh one and want to get tinkering with these completely rebuilable atties to keep my attention, but do NOT fancy getting a mech mod, cells, and dealing with extra chargers and whatnot.

Given that lots of dual coil cartos and clearos use ~1.5-2 ohm coils, if I got 32-34 gague wire and wrapped it properly, would this thing work or not?

it should, you dont need a mech but a bigger mod with more amperage and short protection is recommended.

if you get a short somewhere it could kill the ego.

and you have to realize this thing is big with a lot of metal, it will be very top heavy and look kinda silly and you also just cant lay it on the desk like a nova or something it will leak after a while.

i have a few of these, drilled out the air hole to 5/16ths but you might drill it out smaller to start. i build 1.5 ohm coils using twisted .32 kanthal and make a 3/4 wrap on 2 strands of 2 mm wick. this will produce decent vapor on a 1100 mah eGo USB pass-though. if you get a plinth that is about the same size it looks fantastic.

You can with the right build I would recommend 500 mesh and a 1.5 ohm build

Gonna aim for 2 ohm build to be on the safer side.

On the mech mod note, are there ANY that just use 1 NiMH battery or do you have to buy those oddly sized ones?
