I know some people who have vaped on Air Canada without any issues. I'm not sure what the official word is on this and I haven't flown since I started vaping but I hear people are doing it right out in the open.

Edit - I checked into this and they say on their website that you can carry e-cigarettes in your carry on baggage provided that they are stowed away. Bummer! I've only flown once since they banned smoking many years ago and that was an ordeal I don't wish to repeat, looks like I'm still grounded :(

You will have no problems going threw customs just use the plastic bags for small volumes of liquid. Do not lie or peel labels off. DO NOT VAPE on the plane unless you are authorized to do so. Many airlines have lumped vaping in with smoking(misinformed) but you could end up in serious trouble. I don't know what Cuban laws are and couldn't find any, make sure that they are ok there and then your set. I wouldn't risk importing it into Cuba until you know 100% they are legal there. Prisons on communist 3rd/2nd world countries don't have the greatest accommodations from what I here.

I was wondering if i can bring my e cig to cuba, along with some juice.
i dont want to start smoking analogs all over again and get unhealthy.

can it come in a carry on?
or luggage it?
arent air ports harsh on any transport of liquids even if it says blueberry on it...

any answers would be alot of help , thanks!

Airlines now permit people to carry ecigs in their carry on - but not to use it in-flight. It's hard to know though, if those regulations were created with the idea that all ecigs come with prefilled cartridges (that is the common belief among non-vapers).

I've travelled with ecigs already - across international borders - no problems or issues.

However, I do put eliquid in the checked luggage (in a plastic baggy, inside a zip case, to avoid leakage) - and only carry on pre-filled cartos. This way you don't have to go into deeper explanations of "what's in that bottle".

As for customs - I highly doubt that cuba would have any kind of a ban on nicotine (NOT the makers of the cuban cigar - surely) - but it may be worth checking out on the Cuban Customs website: Cuban Customs Administration Home Page

Do keep in mind that when travelling to places like Cuba (and other developing countries) - the law doesn't always apply or can be interpreted in ways you don't expect. Take the phone number and address of the Canadian Consular representative in Cuba and leave an itinerary, estimated time of return and contact info with someone in Canada who you trust. (having travelled alot - this is advice I received a long time ago - always followed and never regretted).

Enjoy your trip. If you NEED to vape, be stealth, use a high PG ratio juice, less vapour, and use a juice which is relatively sentless. Heck, use the bathroom, and make sure you leave something smelly behind to mask it... LOL.... hahaha

LMFAO !!!
i have a 4 hour layover in toronto, so im thinking drinks and power vaping XD

I've flown a bunch while vaping all over the sky in Canada and the USA, so here's how I'd suggest doing it.

Put your e-cig and any spare batteries/metal bits on the tray provided for your wallet, keys etc when you're going through security. Don't leave them in your carry on bag as they look suspicious on the x-ray machine then you get stopped by overzealous TSA guys and they touch you in your special places.

Leave your containers of e-juice in your pockets or in your bag so you dont have to bother explaining what they are. If they are over 30ml leave them at home and bring smaller bottles or it could get confiscated.

Don't vape away in your seat, even if your arline allows it. It just annoys other passengers, raises more questions about second hand vapor and you'll have to explain you're not a terrorist to a lot of people in the worst case. Just go to the bathroom and vape away, keep your vapor inhaled for a few seconds and dont exhale at the smoke detector and you'll be fine.
