I was wondering if you guys want to compile a list of Canadian airports and airlines and their policies with regards to vaping. I'm sure that many of these airports and airlines have official policies on such things buried somewhere on their websites, but policies are one thing and actual first hand experience is another.

I'm sure many of the members on this forum travel a lot and have had many experiences with regards to airport policy, airline policy, going through security with e-juice bottles or mods (should be fun explaining to security that the wooden box with the button on it isn't a bomb :)), be it inside luggage or carry-on.

I'm sure most of this information is already out there on various websites, but it might be nice to have all the information gathered in a single list. I haven't been traveling since I started vaping, so I can't contribute quite yet, but if anyone thinks this is a good idea, feel free to get it started. Maybe after enough info has been added, it'll be worth adding this to the stickies.

hmm let see, a battery, a button, a fuse ( heating coils), and unknown liquid in a small container attached to it. LOL, thank god this isn't 2001 else alot of us would end up in gitmo the moment we tried to enter a airport with it. I have no experience with this but i think it should be fine to carry it around, just don't vape on the airplane itself. e-cigs are common even knowledge nowadays that they should know what it is. IDK about a big DYI box thou lol but carrying that around to a airport is pretty much asking for trouble anyways.

Most airlines already have some type of policy - usually that you can carry your ecig in your hand luggage but not use it. Last year several airlines still permitted use if you were discreet.

Big problem is security. Best to carry everything in a case with labels and even a user manual if you still have it. Better yet, place everything in whatever case you're using to carry your electronic toys.

Mods should be dissasembled - unless they're very ecig obvious.
