Do you guys think it would be helpful to others in the community if I started a new post titled - "magic mouthwash"
It might be helpful sure.. as far as where to post.. you'd want to get as many people as possible to see the info.. maybe here.. but it will eventually get moved to the health section (maybe). You could always blog about it here and/or put a link to it in your signature. :)

Hope this helps.

There is really no compound discovered that makes canker sores heal faster. All the ointments and liquids made for them focus on reducing the pain and preventing further complications but in the end you're still just going to have to wait it out. salt and alcohol have historically been used because of their antiseptic effect and also because they dry the sore which makes it shrink and harden temporarily, the last bit reduces the pain but also slows down the healing somewhat. So best you can do is eat painkillers and keep the sore clear with some kind of non volatile antiseptic(they sell listerine without alcohol for example).

My experience. Ejuice with PG = canker sores. Ejuice without PG= no canker sores.

Tom

Interesting.

Up until now, I have never had any canker sores. I am 34 years old, and the worst I've ever had was a little sore if I bit my cheek while chewing.

I have been off analogs since May 6th, and not a single sore.

I typically make my own juice at ~80-90%vg.

Recently, i got 100ml of both Bobas and Gorilla juice from AVE.

I'm on a field exercise right now, so I only brought the GJ.

Here I am ~3 days later with a canker under my tongue (on my gums just above the saliva glands).

Wow this thing hurts!!!

That said, I am an Army medic and have access to things like viscous lidocaine, diphenhydramine, etc...

Could you pm me the breakdown of each ingredient, the mg/ml of each, and the % of each so I can whip some up when I get back to the rear?

Also curious whether I would use a base of distilled water + vg? Or is there enough viscous lidocaine (vg base) in the mix that just distilled water is enough to keep everything mixed/suspended?

Thanks Doc!

Sincerely,

Doc
