Funny that you should call my attention back to this thread, reminding me of the desert. I sit here looking out my window at a frozen wasteland. The lake covered in snow, which continues to fall. Temperatures dipping below 0 fahrenheit more and more frequently. Sigh...

At one point on my trip, I rounded a corner and saw a guy vaping way up on a rock. I still have no idea how he got up there, as he didn't have any rock climbing gear with him and it didn't look climbable without it. He never noticed me. Just sat there chucking clouds of what smelled like watermelon.

He indeed may have needed a tiny blunt knife on his way back home that evening

If you break down on a dune just hand crank it in reverse up the dune. Failing that just rebuild the vehicle into a plane and fly the hell out of there. And don't go drinking your own piss at any time, not even for fun.

Oh and if you get cold just hollow out a camel and climb inside it for the night.
