How about the SmokTech SID? It does everything the Vamo does and you can even use 510 and Ego threading without adding an adapter. http://www.vaporbank.com has them now for 47.99. I did find a site that was offering them for 39.99 but out of stock until Monday, I cant find the site now but you may be able to google it. I didn't wait for the sale I just order one for 53.00. Good luck. pbusardo has a video on youtube that will explain about the SID.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I don't want to throw a monkey wrench at anyone's favorite, but any device with a board in it that gets wet will probably fail just as any cell phone (that isn't water resistant) will fail if it gets wet (I learned the hard way). With that in mind, stick with a fasttech version of the Vamo, either that or I saw some vendor selling a replacement board for the Vamo for under twenty bucks. By the way, the FastTech version accepts an Ego delivery device without needing an adapter.

Get a ego c twist and save your money to buy the Provari later. I have a Sig Zmax v3 that was great for about a month and then the button got tricky, will hesitate to fire. Took it to the guy I bought it from and he "fixed" it but it still doing the same thing. I use an ego twist as a back up and I think it works every bit as good as the Z max. My Provari is a month old and still kicks ... (better knock wood). My 2 cents.

The ZMAX Telescope V3 looks like a solid alternative to the Provari if you're looking for the one button menu thing, but I really love my SVD, even though it has a lot of buttons, and strange button combinations to access things. Both telescope so you can use different sized batteries, and the size varies with the different batteries. You get a mini and a max all-in-one device.
Just ordered the SVD, cant wait. I bought the MVP yesterday, so far love it.

I own the Sigelei Zmax and like it quite a bit, but don't have much else to compare it to. I've had a similar experience with the fire button as one of the above posters. I've adjusted, but there is a definite delay sometimes when trying to fire. Typically after sitting unused for a couple minutes or more.

The feel and look of the Zmax is great. A bit heavy for some, but the Zmax in 18350 mode with a nice stainless steel RBA on top looks pretty slick.

There are alot of great mods out there right now. I would watch as many reviews as you can, keep posting here at ECF, and dont rush to buy. I know that is easier said than done when your mod is going out, but there really is alot to choose from.
Unless you are going to start vaping super low ohm only, then most any of the VV or VW mods out there will probably work for your situation.
Also, take with a grain of salt any comments that are "ONLY Provari", or "ONLY Zmax", or "ONLY Vamo", etc. There are plenty of positive reviews for all of the current devices, so choose the one that suits YOU the best.

Try putting your Vamo in a bag of rice, and let it sit a couple of days. It may, or may not work, but the rice will draw the moisture out.

My Vamo keeps dying on me....constantly getting an error code. I got it wet and I think it damaged the chip. I want to buy a replacement mod that's as good, or better, than the Vamo. Checked out the cost of a Provari at Provapes, then tried to find one available in Canada, but the price difference is significantly higher. I want to order from Canada because I'd probably get dinged for the taxes once it arrived at customs in Canada and would end up costing more if I got it from the States. Anyone have any helpful advice ? Thanks !
