Vtr is 15w. Mvp is 11w. Vtr has extention tube for attys that don't fit. With vtr, buy 4 batteries. Charging every day can be a pain.
That said, get a 30w box mod instead of vtr. You can pick up a hana clone for 80 or so, a single 18650 for 10-15. The box will last you a ton longer (won't need to upgrade soon). Nautilus can handle more than 15w if you want to push it.
I have both and will tell you the Nautilus Mini will fit but it's a pain the the .... to get on and off with the VTR. You must put the coil head on first and then turn the VTR upside down to screw the rest of it to the base. It's the air adjustment ring that does not want to go thru the protective ring. I like the VTR on the job because because of it's low profile. It fits in my cell phone pocket on my cargo jeans perfectly while the taller MVP has the tank and tip poking up. The VTR fits in my tool pouch nicely as well. I like the weight of the MVP2 and I rarely go over 10 watts with either device.
If I wasn't concerned about the compactness factor I think the MVP2 would be my choice.
My wife has a vtr and she enjoys it very much. She has an Aerotank on hers right now. If it was me I would look into a DNA30 device or an IPV2
I'm going to be honest with you... I think if you're already vaping, you might be disappointed with the MVP. Now, don't get me wrong, it's a great starter kit and it's a good base line (price wise and performance wise) but if you're vaping, and enjoying it, then you might want something with a bit more power. The VTR sounds great, but someone above mentioned the Hana clone, and that's a really, really great choice if you can swing it (I know the place around me sells them with the battery for $70.00 and it comes with the USB charger, I also think they have the DNA or a DNA-like board inside).
What I'm saying is that you might be surprised by what you want in the future. The longer you're at it, the more you may want to experiment with setting to find your happy place or sweet spot. Just because it goes to 30w doesn't mean you need to vape at 30w tomorrow, but if someday you want to bump it up, you're not going to have to buy another mod. I have a VW mod and I play with it sometimes...I consistently vape at 12, but sometimes I go up and sometimes I go down, it all depends on my mood and wants.
Either way, good luck with your choice!
I would say spend the money on something better quality that you like rather than blowing through 4 mods til you find the right one. Get what you want with reviews that suit your taste. Youll prob end up saving in the long run.
Yup, just came across the Katady ePower 3 and it's exactly what I was looking for, got it on Ebay for $60 USD
