For what it's worth, Another little tip, regarding transparent "PET" vs. natural "HDPE" for refilling Kayfuns. Ordinarily I tend to prefer PET. I like their crystal clear transparency and they seem to clean up a lot easier than HDPE. HDPE seems more prone to retaining aromas. Maybe because HDPE is more porous? I also like PET's higher rigidity, especially when snapping on the dropper tip. The neck of HDPE tends to cave in (thereby forcing liquid up and out of an overfilled bottle

), while PET always holds its shape. The only bottles that have leaked on me when tossed carelessly into my bag are HDPE, and I suspect it's because of their lower rigidity and proneness to becoming deformed when squished under other objects.
The downside to PET is that they are harder to squeeze, and under repeated use they develop a crease around their middle. I've got PETs in use that have survived hundreds of refills, and I've yet to have one crack or spring a leak, but the creases make them appear pretty beat up. The PET bottles that we can buy cheaply in bulk are actually thicker than ideal. What we need are thinner PET, or PET that have a thinner middle area for squeezing (like Flavorah's bottles).
Anyway, it's more difficult (but still totally doable) to refill Kayfun ports with PET. Since the standard dropper tips aren't small enough to actually enter the fill port, what you have to do is apply pressure to create a seal and then "inject" liquid into the tank. I've learned it's much easier to do that with the more flexible HDPE bottles.
