After looking at all the pictures and videos and everything that I can find to compare the two, I still can't decide. I kind of like the looks of the standard version better, but I like the versatility of the mini with the extensions.

I've really enjoyed having a mini with the extender cap. Sometimes, depending on my day, I use the extender with the larger batteries and sometimes I don't. It really has to do with your hand size, how much you vape, and your daily activities. Please read other posts, as this is a common question. There is so much info. and wisdom. in this forum! Congratulations!
I had trouble deciding, but ended up going with the standard. I figure the larger battery would be better for travel. Either one is too large to fit in a pants pocket comfortably- especially with a tank on it, so I saw no advantage to the mini. For a quick on the go vape, I just use 400 or 650 mAh Triton batteries with cartos anyway.

I like the mini because with the extension cap and the ring Tatroe Ring Provari
It gives me the flexibility to go from 18350 small 18490 medium, and the 18650 large.
I like 18350 when at home, I just rotate batts in the charger.
When out I use the 18490 or 650
You can't go wrong choosing either one. The mini is probably more flexible since you can make it longer, but you can't make the standard shorter. You'll more than likely eventually have both a Mini and a standard at some point.
->Rule of thumb: with a mini you can always build up in battery size, but with the regular sized one you can never go down to a mini. Friends of mines who purchased the regular sized ones wished they had a mini, but owners with a mini never wished they purchased the regular sized one.

THEN I got the provari home. Chose the regular size by the way.
1)Its a lot smaller than I thought. A lot. The regular size provari is a little bit shorter than a vamo in 18350 mode.
2)the 18490 battery lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. Its very efficient.
In the end, I got what I wanted. A small mod with good battery life. Ill probably never run a provari in 18650 mode, but keep in mind I have other 18650 mods if I want that kind of size/battery life.
Im looking for my second provari already, and its almost certainly gonna be a mini with extension. That way I can have a SMALL provari, but also can run the bigger battery.
I guess the moral of the story is, unless your the type to have no interest in small mods, the Mini with available extensions is very flexible. But if your not a fan of the way the double tatroe ring looks, the regular size provari is still what Id consider a small mod.

I bought the regular size first. Then, a month later, bought the Mini. Love them both (although the regular size is in for a pit stop these days, button is doing strange things).
So my advice: Get one of each. If not for anything else, then just to have a backup, in case anything should happen to either one. I know I wouldn't be happy, if I had to settle for my Spinner battery, while the regular one is in the shop

I saw one black mini in the classifieds with the Kir Fanis extension, I googled it and found a thread made by the same person. Apparently he used satin black spray paint to paint it; looked great in the pictures. Like it was spot on. I thought it looked neat, for 18650 mode.
I have 4-6 flavors in my daily rotation and hate switching tanks. Does that mean I have to buy 3-5 more ProVaris?
