I've had a Vamo, and honestly if you're careful and don't drop it, it will last a long time. It's a little big for my taste, but it works great. The SVD has received a lot of praise, and I've personally used one for a little bit and the telescoping is a big advantage for me over the Vamo. It's best to find a B&M if possible and see if you can hold one and get a feel for it before you hop on one. If not, just keep reading reviews and choose the best one that would suit you.

The SVD and eVic are similarly priced around $100 for the kit. The SID is less by $20 or $30. I am well aware that these APV's can be smart purchased for much lower prices. If budget rules the roost, then you have to go with the Smoktech because of price. If durability is key, then you have to go for the SVD. If tech is the issue, then there's nothing more advanced than the eVic. If I were going to get an Innokin, I would probably buy the iTaste 3.0, not the SVD. Cost is $34.95 including shipping at iVape (iTaste VV 3.0 - Variable Wattage Device - Black | iTaste MVP | Starter Kits | iVAPE). Just bought two and love them. They are now my new stealth, backup, out and about vapes, meaning I will use them every day, depending upon my situation. The iTaste is the first variable power eGo style battery out there with ohm meter and puff counter (like the eVic, and probably not that useful to most vapers). The iTaste comes with a usb/micro cable, so all you need is a wall outlet or computer to charge it up. It's a passthrough meaning you can use it while charging.

Now if I did have $100 to spend, I'd still get the iTaste 3.0 which would leave me $65 for my new APV. In that case, I would have to go for the Sigelei V3, certainly over the SVD. The Sigelei telescopes, meaning I don't have to worry about battery caps, tubes, etc. a set of 18650's and a set of 18350's and I'm ready to go. I could even get one 18650 and one 18350 and make that work, meaning I only have to add a charger. The Sigelei V3 runs about $58.72 at ExhaleVapers (https://www.exhalevapors.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=6042&CartID=1) using ........'s Coupon Code. That is about the same price as the SID, yet the V3 is a much higher quality APV imho.

Well there you go, two fantastic APV's for the price of one. By the way, I have 3 eVic's (two are broken - they are a bit delicate - so I don't recommend the eVic any more), and I think both the Innokin MVP and iTaste 3.0 are better than the SVD, and the Smoktech was designed to look like the eVic, but is not even as nice as the Anyvape CVI imho. The Vamo is nice, certainly the least expensive entry level AVP, but there are many better APV's for only a little more money, and I do own the Vamo V3. I do like it very much, but the quality on both the iTaste and the Sigelei is much better. By the way, the Sigelei V2 compares with the SVD and on an apples and apples basis, I go with the Sigelei. If I have to spend $100 on a big ole mod, then I buy the Innokin iTaste 134, which is one of the coolest looking mods I've ever seen (Innokin's Next Heavy Weapon: The iTaste 134 - Vape Squad). But, the 134 will be a budget buster with our $100 limit, plus I don't think anyone has it yet (I haven't checked recently though, so, who knows?).

Anyway, my :2c: . Welcome to ECF, congrats on getting here, good luck and Vape On!

I bought an eVic for my first and am completely satisfied. 2 months later and not a single problem. Comes with a battery and on board charging. For my next I might just buy for looks as long as it functions but if your looking for something in the midrange of devices I couldn't recommend a better one. Well maybe an Itaste MVP if you don't mind box mods.
