I don't know if I'm using the correct term, but I'm looking for an e-cig that has good resistance when I take a drag. I guess I like to work a bit for my nicotine. :)

I started with Green Smoke and LOVE the resistance (it's also very smooth, no whistling) that I feel when taking a drag. There are no holes on the carts, only one tiny one at the end of the battery. What I don't like is the lack of flavours, pre-filled carts or prices.

I have batteries/refillable carts from V4L and there is a tiny bit of resistance, but mostly I feel like I'm pulling air through an empty straw. Not a big fan.

I recently purchased an Ego C twist along with Clearomizers. I like this solution best...the batteries last a long time and the Clearomizers (CE5) are easy to fill. BUT there is NO resistance at all...I can cover up a couple of holes on the Clearomizer and it helps, but it still doesn't feel like the strong, very smooth pull I get from Green Smoke.

Does anyone have any tricks or ideas? Am I the only one who wants to work a bit to get a "pull" from an e-cig?

I'm here, when I'm here
Mornin' Kristine. What you're looking for is called a tighter draw. I got one of these Aspire ET-S BDC Pyrex at a vaping convention a couple of weeks ago. Kind of a tight draw, which I'm not a big fan of, but this one works for me and produces plenty of flavor and vapor.

Hope this helps and Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

I could be wrong but a higher resistance coil would probably help

also just as a side note when buying tanks always try to get glass or metal so you never have to worry with possible tank cracking juices :)

if you like cig-a-likes I would highly recommend trying the new MarkTen, but they only come in flavorless and menthol, though you can flavor them yourself ;)

[edit]afterthought....I believe it was ocelot, whom used some of those hole reinforces stickers and put them on the bottom of her tanks to help plug up the air holes ;)

Mini Vivi Nova Tank w/ Spring Post - 2.0ml has pretty "tight" or restrictive draw due to design. i find it is quite close to an analog cig. maybe even slightly more restrictive. i have two with 1.8 coils. vapes quite nicely. it is however a top coil design so you need to tilt somewhat when the juice level lowers. they're about $6 so it can't hurt to try one.

i have an "updated" kanger evod mini that sucked like a garden hose. i broke off the ends of toothpicks in two of the holes and then shaved them flush with the body. the draw feels so much better now.

You may try the iclear 16? They seem to have a tighter draw to me.

Iclear 16 definatly has a tighter draw I use em for my thicker juices, mini PT2 for my sweeter thinner juices. seems to be working fine for me. evods im not so sure seem a bit too airy for my taste no matter what juice I use.

For a More Draw when taking a Hit try pugging on of the Side Air Holes on your Clearo with a Wooden Tooth Pick.

For Less Draw, Try Drilling Out one of the Side Air Holes with a 1/16" Drill.
