Can't find the right flavor...

Hey guys... I just can't seem to find the right flavor for my taste buds. I've tried so many different ones... tobacco samplers from V4L, Nuport, Smilin Special... New/Port from FSUSA, Bullet, Thin Mint... every flavor from SmokeTip... and nothing seems to really hit it off for me. What the heck am I doing wrong? I'm even dripping as we speak (Thin Mint) and it just seems so bleh...

Many places will add menthol to any of their tobacco flavors. I know FSUSA does for sure. You might try their PureCig with Menthol.

Alternatively, have you considered non-mint/menthol flavors? There's a whole range of flavors out there, from fruity to nutty to creamy to woody to smokey, why limit yourself to just menthol?

Alternatively alternatively, perhaps you're just having one of those days? As our taste buds come back, sometimes just nothing tastes good every now and then. You just got to power through it, maybe mix it up a little bit.

I quit analogs about a week ago and the only flavour I find that works for me is a coffee one. Hopefully my taste buds and yours wake up again real soon.

Hey loft,
I've had good luck by mixing e-juices together. Mixing in a carto condom, a few drops at a time. Put your finger on the top. Shake and drip.
Received some High Caliber Banana Split sent to me by mistake. Six drops of BS, a couple drops of menthol, and a couple drops of VG. Also, did the same with cherry, vanilla, and VG. Peach menthol was pretty decent.
You may eventually want to get into the DIY e-juice scene. Limitless possibilities, then.

I did the same thing, loft.
I was a 30+ year 1 to 1 1/2 PAD menthol smoker. It took a while for me to move away from menthol vapes, but have found myself enjoying a bigger variety of flavors. I still add a bit of menthol to other flavors on occasion.
Try to keep an open mind.
In my last reply, I mentioned the Banana Split that the supplier sent me by mistake. I doubt if I would have ever ordered that particular flavor. It doesn't taste like a banana split, but has a sweet, creamy fruit flavor. Hard to explain, but my point is; I found it by accident and now it's one of my favorites.
Also, you didn't mention what strength juice you're vaping. Maybe up the nic a little and see if that helps.
I just remembered seeing a fairly new supplier that offers different strengths in flavor as well as different levels of nicotine. I've never ordered from them, but saw a few good comments from others on the forum.

I was a menthol smoker as well, but I never took to the tobacco or menthol flavors. They just seem to bright and shiny, like smoking with a coughdrop in my mouth.

The one that most works for me when I'm having an analog craving is FSUSAs Black Jack Chewing Gum.
Its licorice flavor gives me nearly the same tingle as menthol, but has a darker taste. Somehow, though, I can't taste their plain licorice juice, just the BJCG.

I've ordered from several juice vendors and thank goodness I orderd from Backwoods Brew on my second order or I might not have stuck it out. Their flavors are amazing. I've since ordered from others as well but IMO Backwoods Brew juices top them all. So far anway,,lol.

The Dulce de Leche from BWB is a chocolaty tobacco flavor that I also like as a daily vape. Don also has some menthol juices that are highly rated. You might find menthol crystals help once you find a flavor you like and want to add a touch of menthol to it. Most people dissolve a few crystals in alcohol and use that to add to their juice.

Dekang flue cured tobacco, I dilute it 1/2 with freedom smoke virginia 0mg and love the stuff so much I don't bother with other flavors.

I get overwhelmed in a hurry just looking at what's available.

A guideline for flavors is do you want your vapor to taste like smoke or something else? Fruit? Candy? Coffee? Perfume?

I smoked cigars because I like tobacco flavor, I never had any desire to smoke a peach!

One thing I forgot to take into consideration and that is currently I have a sinus infection... which is more than likely contributing to my less than desirable outcome.

What ratio do you mix? I have smoked Newport's for roughly 10 years but can't find anything close. All the "menthol" I've ordered tastes like medicine or dish soap lol

Wow, taste is so individual. Fire and Ice from Vapor Bomb almost knocked me off the chair. My lips turned numb. I think I'm one of the very few people here that don't like it.
