Can't find vg at walmart

I've searched the forum and everyone is finding VG at their local walmart but I can't find it at multiple walmarts in my area. Where exactly at the store are you getting it? I've tried the skin care section the cake decorating section and throughout the pharmacy area.

I need to pick some up locally to cut this juice and would like to get it locally instead of online. Any help?

Go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Or call your local pharmacy and ask them to order Glycerin for you. I called mine and he had it for me the next day. Just make sure you tell them you need USP grade. The brand I got was Humco. At Walmart my friend couldn't find it and asked the pharmacist and they found it on the shelf for her.

Look in the first aid section with alcohol and Band-Aids. The bottle is a bit small, so look for small.

Wait! You are asking for V.G. not glycerin? There's your problem. You can order V.G. on line from suppliers or Lorann's and Bickfords. You might even be lucky enough to get a drugest to order it.
But what people are getting at Walmart, craft stores, party supply stores and drugstores (I got mine at a supermarket) is Glycerine! USP or food grade on the bottle.

I bought a bottle at a "health food store" in Santa Rosa, CA., the Community Market. The brand I got is "Starwest" botannicals. Anyone used it? It reads"100 % pure natural vegetable glycerin USP"..... I tried it and like it mixed with the juice I'm using.

You can find VG at just about any health nut store. It's often in the diuretic section, skin softening section or sweetener section or just ask the clerk.

walmart carries the Humco brand. its in a 6oz bottle. not very big.

One other area to look is the ethnic hair care section, usually on a lower shelf. The last bottle I picked up says Glycerin U.S.P Emollient, and on the back is says 100% pure vegetable glycerin.

Yes, the three in my area have the NOW personal care VG 16oz and one of the three had Natures Answer VG, as well. NOW VG was a little sweeter than the Natures Answer VG. Natures Answer VG smelled a little like coco butter lotion. Guess it makes a difference on what the VG is derived from. Now is Palm and Natures Answer is coconut.

thanks guys, i ended up getting wiltons glycerin from michaels. i just need to learn to like this stuff, it makes my juice really thick and kind of has a weird aftertaste.
