I'm thinking of getting into DIY and I've read a bunch of times that people can get VG from Walmart.

So... I went looking the other day in my local Walmart and the only thing I could find in the pharmacy area was this...

It's the only thing that even remotely said "Glycerin". Is this what people use or am I holding a bottle of laxative in my hand?? :glare:

If this isn't it, then I'd say I'm one of the unlucky ones whose store doesn't stock VG.

This from Wizard Labs site concerning VG.

"Minimum 99.7% purity USP grade Kosher certified Vegetable Glycerin suitable for use as a carrier base and dilutant for Wizard Labs organic Nicotine solutions. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning concerning glycerin produced from the Jatropha plant which can contain toxins, including phorbol esters, that naturally occur in the plant. All of our vegetable-derived glycerin is 100% sourced from palm fruit, and does not contain any Jatropha plant or derivatives."

Might want to check the back of the Humco VG bottle to see if it says what their VG is derived from. Maybe a concern, or maybe not.

Unfortunately the bottle says nothing about what it is derived from??

The only source online that I can find says Humco Glycerin is 100% derived from vegetables. I picked up a bottle 2 months ago and have been using it to increase the VG content of strong juice for use in my drippers. So far I haven't experienced any negative side effects and I have vaped about 100 ml of it.

Thanks for posting. I got the same stuff at Rite Aid today and my boyfriend is freaking the heck out. If nothing else, it makes a really good moisturizer for hair or skin.

That's what happens when they let a girl on the thread.
I asked my gynecologist, and she said that it is also a good lubricant.
