I decided to try out a genesis atomiser and bought an AC9 kit. I've been using silica wick based attys until now and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It's a beautiful looking piece of kit and it vapes amazingly. My problem is that I can't unscrew the deck from the tank/base. I've tried running it under hot water, used rubber gloves to get some traction, even tried needle nose pliers in the holes on the deck. It simply won't budge. Anyone else had this problem?

I've already written to Vapinaze, who suggested the rubber gloves.

Pliers is what I use too. Wear a rubber glove on you left hand (if you are right handed) to grasp the tank, wrap a cloth around the deck so the pliers won't scratch it and turn slowly but don't squeeze too hard with the pliers. Once you break the seal (probably gummed up juice) it should come off easily.

I've also used one of those round rubber jar openers to unscrew tight connections.
