Okay, this may sound ridiculous, but today I decided to get an ego twist with a smoketech cartomizer. I purchased two of them in store (one for me and one for my boyfriend). We are now both sitting here with them trying to get our batteries off. It's almost comical how much difficulty we are having. The cartomizer spins around in circles if we try to twist off the battery, so THAT doesn't work. And the adapter piece seems to have been attached by Thor, though in the case of my boyfriend's, I am the one who attached it. Mine was attached at the store. I am really beyond idea here and am wondering if we're looking past a simple solution. Any ideas?

We did bust out the plier and were able to get them off by using a lot of muscle. It just seems odd to me that it took that much effort. I guess the key is to be very careful when screwing them in to begin with. We tried pulling while twisting before taking out the pliers, but it didn't work out. I don't think I'll try that method again.. There was almost a juicy mess there. Thanks for the advice. After over two years of vaping I never thought I'd have such a silly problem to turn to the internet for.

What I do to ensure proper thread alignment is before screwing something on I turn it backwards until I feel the thing I'm holding fall off the top of the threads onto the next level down (kinda hard to describe, but if you try it you'll see/feel what I mean). Only then will I begin to screw it on.

Found out this little trick to prevent cross threading when I put nuts on bolts, and now I use this method with anything with threads.
