I just got a bombshell and the J tank tonight. I cant get the J tank to work. It seems to have little to no draw, really hard to suck through. I almost instantly got that burnt taste like the juice isnt whicking. I think I have it filled up properly but I cant be sure. Ive moved the cart up and down in it to try to get it to breath better but no luck. Is the bombshell/j tank not a usable combo? Is it too much battery. Im using the stock battery with the bombshell. Im lost and really disappointed right now unfortunately. Any and all ideas are appreciated.

I don't know what a bombshell is, but, is there a possibility that you might need an adapter to lift the tank further off of the mod?

You could be right on that. If I have it all the way down it definately wont draw at all. But the draw is tight even when not attached to the mod. No, I have no other device to try it with. My only other device is a epipemod that is not compatible at all.
You might also need to check the slot on the carto to make sure it isn't blocked. If it didn't get cut well enough you may need to use a thin blade or something like a dental pick to poke it through. Also what pg/vg ratio is your juice? Thick juice needs a larger hole to get through.
Im not sure what the actual ratio is, it just says reduced pg, so it must be a mix or some sort. Hmm... how do I take it back apart without losing all that juice? Id hate to waste it all. The juice is kind of thick looking, it is the ectoplasm flavor.
Hold the tank up-side down and push the carto through until the battery end is loose. Then you can suck the juice out with a syringe.

Ok, Ill go get a syringe tomorrow then and give it all a go. Thanks for the help. Ill update this thread as I figure it out.
EDIT: Another thing I have noticed about mine is that it doesnt have slits at all, just a small hole punched on both sides. The look like decent enough sized holes but what Ive seen in videos are horizontal slits.

I still cant figure this thing out. I think there might be something wrong with it. It seems plugged. Is there an idea on how to unplug it. Ive poked at all the holes with a paper clip to no avail. Im so bummed about it. I need to go get an extra atty or three now I think but it will all be a waste if that doesnt work out either..
Sounds like you have to ditch that carto. Next time you try a new carto on your J-Tank do a test run before putting juice in it. Put the carto on your pv and see if there is any blockage- if there is try to fix it with a paperclip. Make sure the airflow is good before filling.

Yup, hopefully someone else can find this in the future. I dont know why but I didnt even consider the need to do that. I kinda just figured Id follow the directions to fill it carefully and was not aware there was potential for this. Ill remember to test without juice next time. Thanks for your response.
Well, to put a capper on this thread I would like to thank everyone who posted.
I ended up going back to the local store I bought it from and they were kind enough to replace the carto for me no charge. I mentioned that I had used a whole bottle of juice tying to figure this out and she filled up the jtank for me and gave me the bottle which still had plenty of juice left once again at no charge. So a big thanks goes out to the Vaporium here in Lakewood Washington.
All is well now and working as intended. I am enjoying the bombshell jtank combo very much.
