DYI juice is almost dirt cheap. it costs very little for my wife and i to vape now. it was more expensive then smoking the cheap RYO "pipe" tobacco that i used to smoke now it costs far less then that. spend $80 and that will make a TON of juice. buying juice is expensive but making it yourself is cheap. i now firmly believe that DYI is the way to go. i used to think it was going to be a hassle or perhaps even dangerous, but using easy e juice creator, it tells you extacly how much to use of each indegrent. i notice very little if any difference between that expensive juice i was buying and the stuff that i make now. i make a larger enough batch that it will last my wife and i a long time; i made up a 125 ML and a 60 ML bottle of another variety so i dont have to do it for a while. DYI simply rocks.

Can you imagine how much the e juice stores make on each bottle?

Being discussed HERE.

To the OP, yes, it's remarkably inexpensive! My average cost:

PG and VG - $.007/ml
nicotine 60mg (PG) - $.07/ml

Flavor cost varies due to manufacturer, volume (size), strength and mix ratio. So I'll let ya do your own math for your flavs.

My minimal requirements:

nic
VG
PG
flavors
e-Juice Me Up calculator
20ml syringe
5ml syringe
1ml syringe
30ml bottles
60ml bottles
5ml bottles (for test samples)
120ml bottle (for bulk base)
100ml graduated glass cylinder (for bulk base mixing)

Of course I have more DIY equipment , but the list is what I actually use 98% of the time.

I mix 100ml of base (nic/PG/VG) and put that into a 120ml bottle that has a flip-top cap. I use 5ml bottles for test samples. Most of my mixes are 30ml, sometimes 60ml. Note that I do not use needles, pipettes or funnels; no need fer 'em.

Ya don't have to spend a fortune buying kits that have items ya probably won't use.
