I just made like 10 coils using a 3/32 drill bit using cheesecloth and every one had a burnt taste. I just gave up and made one using a paperclip and the first one was good. Any advice?

If I were to do SS mesh, I'd roll a solid wick and handwrap it like ~ZEN does ... at 13:28
Then oxidize the wick using the "Pulse Method". Don't bother with cheesecloth, not needed.

I followed the zen build it's a definite wantable
@7:00 minutes he tells you what you did wrong
if you put a flame to the "machine" wrapped coil it will hold/lock into position much better
otherwise a good hand coil is great
