So why and what's the difference

1.Save money building your own coils, wire and SS rope is dirt cheap and the SS rope lasts a VERY long time.
2.Taste is cleaner and more flavour
3.MASSIVE vapour
4.Easy setup, tanks are bigger than clearos and easy too work with.
4.Looks awesome.
5.Mechs and RBA`tank will last a life time, ill be taking mine too my grave,if i dont lose it down an elelvator shaft.

BTW,a foot long piece of SS cable costs 70 cents and you can get 10 wicks from one foot, one wick will last years, how cheap it that?....7 cents for a wick that last for years?

I've been vaping since March and quickly moved onto mechs and RBA's. I was getting mixed results with clearos/cartos etc and was getting frustrated with varying tastes and perfromances. Once I tried my hand a RDA's/RBA's I haven't looked back. The only downside is I have the collecting bug now and there are some really nice and varied devices out there. I also like being in control of how I build my coils and the flavour! I just cannot bring myself to buy any delivery device that has been premade

Lol, I DO need help. I want to dip my toe into the RBA pool, and eventually experience sub ohm vaping bliss, but its scary getting started! I once derailed an entire thread because I was asking some questions and I accidentally said "watts" when I meant "volts". I went back to correct my error but it was too late. The safety police were all over it and the poor op had to suffer through this big spiel how he shouldn't be talking sub-ohm to dummies like me. I felt bad for him.

So after that, I figured I was just too ignorant on the topic to bother with it. But then I read a few things, and watched a few videos, and it seems like basically you're just winding a wire around a wick... Not building a nuclear reactor or anything, as the safety police led me to believe.

But still I don't really know where to start. If you could throw out some suggestions on what supplies tools and a good starter device, that would be cool.

Course if you do that, I won't be jealous anymore. Just eternally grateful. :)

Its not that difficult, when i first seen the mechs and RBA tanks i went, holy cow,not for me,but i ''gambled'' and went ahead and got the Natural and the RRST tank. The RSST tank is a must for beginners and it seems like its the hottest tank out there now,no pun intended.
If you want too truly get into sub ohms, like say under 1.o omh you need a mech, you can still use a RBA with a VV device but you will have too use 30 or 32 ga wire too bring the ohm up too 1.2 and over as you know most VV can run bellow1.2 ohms.I d say start of with the RSST tank first and get practice building wicks and use your VV devices with the RSST,thats what i did.If you then decide too get a mech later i high suggest the Natural Telelscope, the name says it all,it runs right outta the box unlike other Mods athan need tweaking, only thing i didnt like on it was the firing spring was a tad stiff and i just changed the spring which was easy too do.You can go with the Empire or the KTS a s well.

A good vid on how too set up the RSST.

I started out with the Ego kit, moved up too the Vamo and now into Mechs/RBA`s,once you get into sub ohm vaping,it makes the regulated devices look like garbage,no offence too anyone, but there is nothing like a Natural/RSST/AGA/SS cable or mesh setup.

I can't disagree more with you on this one.

Don't get me wrong: I think a .8 ohm genny is an absolutely outstanding vape and very hard to beat when setup right. I am a genesis kinda guy... But!

A genesis atomizer is completely useless if you want to do anything else than stay at home and have a vape. Try to put one in your pocket and go about your business, all you'll get is an empty tank, popped off cap and a pocket full of juice.

Thanks to tanks!

I am completely satisfied with my protank and my provari, good throat hit descent flavor and a bigger could than any gasoline soaked cigarette could ever dream of accomplishing.

Oh! and a better battery life to... sub ohm just drinks the juice out of your batteries.

Thanks man! You rock! Heavily :p

Ok so after I get the rsst, what do I need to build coils? Like, specifically please.

Also, is the ohm readers in the Vamo accurate?

And, you posted once before about rebuliling an evod head with ss. What kind do I need for that... or is there a video?

Save money on coils, lose money on buying more crap for your mods ;) I feel like the people who never look past the cigalikes or basic egos are the ones who really make out

I never claimed that taking a 'RBA tank on the road was ok,i use mine most of the time home, but i do take it with me the odd time,i actually dont enjoy vaping out side as the wind destroys the vaping experience for me.But when i do go out i have a special case that secures it good and no worries about it coming apart.I guess i used the word ''garbage'' too describe the comparsion between the clero tanks and the RBA`s in the wrong manner, ill just say im in love with the ''Gennie''

If you didnt try wrapping a clearo tank before i wouldnt suggest a RBA untill you do.

I use the Vamo too check ohms and battery life, its very accurate.

I did this with my Nova tanks,it works great, the mesh wick in clero tanks are almost as good as RBA`s.

Kanger protank-wick and coil setup with 400 ss mesh :) - YouTube
