Can't reset puff counter?

Hi

As I'm on the verge of selling my eVic (pretty much not using it anymore), I'm trying to make it appear as "brand new in box" as possible, for the guy buying it.
But that #€"ing puff counter won't reset!?!? Any advice?
I've tried doing the "firmware reset" as well, both on OS X and Windows, but none seem to do the job. On OS X, it simply reloads 1.3 and on Windows, it won't flash the firmware flash, as it's asking for the English firmware 1.3 file

On the eVic. Get to the menu.
Select vapor set.
Next menu select puff set
Next menu reset puff

00000
click button and then exit. Puff count reset to 0

No dice, just tried it again, and still stays on 16xxx

Ummm. That is a toughie then.
Not really a fix but you could remove it from the home screen.

Indeed it is, I simply don't understand why I can't reset it, neither on eVic or in MVR. Plus that reset code doesn't work with MVR 1.3 - nice going, joyetech.

Eureka! Figured it out
Turns out, if you have the multi-language version of MVR 1.3, it'll scan for a firmware file named "code_insert-language-here.bin" - so if you need to do the reset firmware thing in MVR 1.3, you'll need to rename the "code.bin" firmware reset file, to "code_english.bin", if you've selected English language in MVR, for example.
It's stuff like this, that users would like to be able to read on your website, joyetech!
Puff counter now set to 0 and new owner will be even more happy

Haha, well thank you for the interwebz, I'll take good care of it, I promise.
I tried the renaming thing on OS X as well, but couldn't get it to do anything, but reflashing 1.3, so must've botched something there. But for Windows, that's the trick

Have you found out how to do the "reset to factory settings" on a Mac yet? Right now, my eVic isn't even counting it's puffs. I reset my eVic's puff count to "0000" and now it won't even increase whenever I hit the device. Any ideas?
