I am an addict - smoking and alcohol - haven't partaken of either since 2007. But of course my addictive trait is still very strong and has been channelled to vaping, golf and motorcycles. Two of which have proven to be good for my health and lowered my health risks.

So I can relate to buying different mods and toppers. I do feel let down when I don't get my weekly vape fix in the mail.

That reminds me - I have been slack in my once a week purchase from Fasttech.:D

welcome to the club. i stocked up over the forth. bull city vapor is a real good diy site. got a dna30 mod last month. already had another on order and preordered for another that goes to 50w. switched to nichrome wire to get the iron taste out of my vape. now there is g-plat wire to order. what gauge? get 15' of each. $75 i am so resisting the urge to put in cart. beyond that i can go the rest of the year free. the last 7 mos. has been a blast. i certainly did not expect that quitting smoking could be fun. i helped a senior friend convert a month ago. thats priceless

well I am right here with everyone. read this entire thread and I know whats going on. I bought a cool fire 1 to start with. I work in construction....user error led to juice leaking in the mod and it breaking down after 3 weeks of vaping. so I then turned to a more dependable device. so, I went and got a Provari. and this thing is amazing. so 5 days later I bought another one. I don't like buying cheap from the door, so I got 6 aspire nautilus tanks. I felt like that was a wise buy truly. I kept burning thru the coils, so I ordered the rebuildabe coil kit for the nautilus tanks and am about to start recoiling and using cotton in them to cut down on buying coils. I did get a clone kayfun and clone kayfun lite for trying out new flavors. because once you load a nautilus you are dedicated to the flavor or you are cleaning / dry burning the coil. with the kayfun you just change some cotton, load it up and vape away. I do believe the learning curve can get explosive. I do appreciate my local b&m for taking time to explain everything to me, so I didn't waste money on cheap stuff other than my initial purchases. I will say I am at a juice buy only phase. and it is way cheaper than smoking cigs. but it was that initial 1k drop that got me where I needed to be. DIY liquids is going to be my next step. but I will wait a bit to get more experience with the kayfun and coil building. one step at a time.

Vape on and Vape strong

After reading thru a bunch of threads I decided to try Mt Baker, so off to the site and ordered some fluids. That got me thinking...

I really should get a larger battery so I'm not constantly swapping. OK, off to MFS for a battery. That got me thinking...

I really should get a second charger. OK, added to the cart. That got me thinking...

I may as well pick up some more coils. Added.

LOL, somebody stop me!:p

Come back when you have a $200 item in more then one cart at a time. OMG... I bought two Provari's within 48 hours one pay day. And those weren't the only purchases that week. In fact, for the last month or so I've been getting at least one package a day. It's bad. Really bad...

This bit of math make me feel better:
$14 per pack in NYC
Pack and a half each for hubby and myself equals 3 packs a day purchased
$14 x 3 = $42 per day
$42 x 7 = $294 per week
That's $588 per pay period for the former smoking budget. I've had pay periods where I matched it, but I'm still mostly under it and have only gone over it once. These are the numbers I pull out for hubby each time I get more stuff...

Of course, I'm counting the smoking budget of two people while mostly buying for *gulp* myself. In my defense however, hubby is a vape gear thieving spouse who hates to admit he enjoys a quality vape and would rather just take what he wants then request anything or even consent to any offer I make to buy him something. He still thinks his cool kid, all star jock high school card counts in his 40’s, and vaping is "geeky".

He's really a great guy. He's also a chef, and the fastest way to my heart is through my stomach. He won me over via dinner's at his place. He literally held a dinner party once a week for various co-workers of ours (we met at work in a restaurant) just to get me to his place and win me over with food. I shudder to think of the money he spent for a month because he was afraid to simply ask me out. He's really well aware that his old high school, cool card has expired. He just sometimes has this knee jerk reaction to electronic devices he doesn't quite understand.

wow, gotcha. that is super suave, sounds like a catch! my bad on the stereotypical assumption.

no doubt, that along w/ humor are money. that's my go-to move if im into a girl and it never fails.

the spending on vape gear is definitely steep at first. can only speak for myself, but it tends to go down over time, at least once you find your setup and know what you like/dislike.

although that is easier said than done and has been quite the task as the industry has not progressed nearly as fast as I thought it would since I began vaping in 2009. one of the reasons is bigger players are hesitant to invest money due to all the uncertainty regarding laws and not knowing whats gonna happen in the future.
the other reason is once a new idea comes out, its only a matter of time before it gets copied and sure enough it will be much cheaper for customers to purchase clones from China where manufacturers can produce products at a much lower cost due to cheaper labor.

however, competition is always good for the consumers due to competitive pricing. fasttech has really made it much easier on the vaping communitys wallets

I started with Green Smoke, found refillable cartomizers from a website and started buying juice. Got fed up with the constant dripping and lame battery life, got an ego C starter kit. Used that for a couple months and got sick of the tiny hole to fill the tanks, so I bought a Kanger Pro Tank II. Found it wasn't hitting hard enough on the ego batteries so I upgraded to an ego C twist. I used 3 ego C twist batteries on a Kanger Pro Tank II for over a year. Recently those single coil Kanger heads have been really crap, flooding, hot pops of juice in the mouth, awful. So I decided to step it way up. Got an eVic S and a Delta. I think I'm set for a while but then realized "Hey, this isn't exactly the best to hit while hitting the town." So I ordered an iTaste Mvp. I had vape savings in spades dammit. Rebuildables are playing their flute near the cliff...

Hey, I'm not going to stop you .
Sounds like your on a roll ..more power to ya
Now you need to learn how to re-wick those coils, so don't stop shopping yet.
It will save you a lot of money.
Have you ever thought about DIYing your own juice ...saves a LOT more money
And remember, the first rule of vaping is to get a back up for a back up and then be sure to have a back up
