You need more supportive friends; looks like they get some perverse joy in seeing you "fall off the wagon". When you ask to bum one, they should be good friends and refuse to give you one.

I have a friend that smokes and last time we went out he said he was going to the restroom. He came back smelling like smoke. I said jokingly, "You went out to smoke, ya bastid.". His response ? "Yep. We're drinking. I'm not gonna be the one to give you a cigarette.".

Now that's a good friend. I'm that guy that denies quitting friends and family an analog, or was that guy. I've gotten many thanks the next day for not giving one up when people were practically begging for one. I did the same thing to one of my brothers and he complained about it, so my other bro gave him one, he's been smoking again since, even though me & the bro who gave him one are vapers now! I will not aid somebody else's downfall, I just hope they feel the same way if I ever try to bum one. I don't drink much, but when I do I tend to vape HEAVY, and higher nicotine levels, as well as thicker juices. So far this has kept another evil stick from my grubby mitts! Good luck , just try to catch yourself mid sentence and second guess it if you find yourself asking somebody to bum an analog.

I don't drink, but I can attest to still wanting a cigarette once in a while. Whenever I'm working on my bike or car I usually, but not always, have a cigarette or two I'm sad to say. Luckily, I don't work on either of them a whole lot, at least not during the winter months. In the 8+ months I've been vaping I've had less than a pack of cigarettes, sounds horrible to me, but it's a lot better than a pack+ a day.
My advice would be to enjoy those few smokes you have.

You appear to have reached vaping Zen, which is where cigarettes have no real hold over you.
And when you reach Vaping Zen, you can enjoy a good smoke if you want.

If you tend to run into issues when drinking, even if youve been clean of any device for months, just bring something if you are going out drinking. Even a little kr808 or 510 throw some 24mg in there so you get a heavy fix when you need it. One of the worst things about smoking was when youd go out drinking and chain smoke all night, being hungover from all the nasties you smoked more than the alcohol you consumed

When I was smoking analogs, I always, always made sure I had a pack. Somewhere. If I ran low I was in panic mode.

I do the same for my e-cig stuff. I always make sure I have two fully charged batteries and enough juice for at least two weeks on hand at all times. And I make sure when I go out I bring a full cart and two batteries in my case. I never want to be in a situation where I don't have access to my e-cig.

It's not a 100% go with me either at this point. I've had maybe 6 cigarettes in the past few days, they all stunk and I ended up putting them out halfway through, yet the dog keeps coming back for a beating. Still not a full-fledge smoker again by any means, just 1-2 a day or so. Something is still calling me back, I get his insatiable urge to have a cig, but then hate it and vape for the rest of the day/evening. Most things, for me anyways, are a process rather than events.

Only 5 weeks vaping and analog free, but most nights i have a few beers (i live in Oklahoma, so it's 3.2 beers ~ water). That was just fine. The first Saturday after starting to vape, I *DRANK*. OMG, I wanted a cigarette SO bad. But, i loaded up my tobacco flavored juice and powered through. OH, i even held a cigarette between my fingers (since I use an eGo twist, it doesn't 'hold' like a cigarette, like maybe a blu or something would), but only vaped. I got through. Another hard time was during a fight hubby and i had. ugh. powered through that too.

Anyway, I have found, if i plan to DRINK, then i better have plenty of tobacco flavored juice with me. Recently hung out at a (smoking) friend's house and had several beers. I did chain vape, like i do when i drink, but i made it through. I am really impressed.

I did however, smoke the organic American Spirits and i really believe the lack of chemicals in those helped me get through the rough times. When hubs and i switched to American Spirits years ago, we did withdraw from chemicals.
