I read on another thread that you shouldn't use paypal for ordering e-cig items?? I'm new here and I've only made one purchase [LF], and it sent me thru Paypal.

I didn't know i even had an account, lol, must've been an Ebay purchase along time ago.

I've searched all over here and I can't find any info about not using Paypal.

    TY- Bob

P.S.-Just a sidenote for other newbies, I'm only doing this 4 days and hadn't planned on giving up analogs yet, but I'm down to 5 aday from 25 without trying!!!! For me, that's unimaginable!

I know your not supposed to, but I bought some clearomizers last week using paypal. From a company in the U.S. VaporsHeaven pretty sure they are in Florida. Ordered thursday, received on monday no problems.
That's the only order I've used paypal for, probably won't use paypal for e-cig stuff anymore though.

I think as long as you don't mention e-cigs or e-juice in the comment section of your order they will accept the order. I paid with my cc at Vixen Vapors and Bombay Vaping but had to go through Paypal as that was the only way they take the payments and both orders went through just fine but I am like you guys I don't think I will order from them again until they change their payment method or anyone using Paypal. I have also heard although I don't know how much truth there is but I am hearing that Paypal is hijacking information and taking your money from your bank account but like I said that is what I am hearing.

Here comes the hippie in me....use caution in reading this!

Paypal is the biggest corporate group of scumbags on the planet! I have quit using ebay or any other company who requires paypal as payment! They have developed almost a monopoly on internet purchases and their fees are atrocious! Boycott them wherever possible!

I agree, but I do shop from companies that take paypal (they gotta make the customer happy) I just refuse to use paypal myself. Most companies will automatically direct you to the page where they "suggest" that you use paypal (while actually making it seem as if it's your only option) but you can say no and use a regular credit card.

I know Paypal is supposed to protect me against internet fraud and identity theft, I guess that's the true benefit to being dirt poor with a crappy credit score - nobody wants my identity but me :)

I'm pretty sure paypal is working under the idea that E-Cig companies are/or will (assuming it gets banned which it wont "in the end") violating the acceptable use policy in which it states that you cannot sell drug paraphernalia. Argue that all you want but they get to do what they want. The policy is pretty vague which interpreted could be argued that Cocoa Cola is a drug that cant be sold through paypal. So pick your battles, whether we get to use paypal for this industry revolves around how it is legitimized by the american government.

I've been using PayPal for 13 years to pay for all sorts of things never one problem. I may be in the minority but I like them.

Its cool I like them too. They have the right to refuse services just like anyone else. Personally I don't blame them its an underground industry that is just getting noticed. If you a run a business do you let just anybody through the door? some people you have to kick out. Its too bad cause its definitely a stereotyping of E-Cigs. We have a bad rep in the US thanks to our......federal friends.

I've been using PP for a long time as well and like using them, I think someday soon there going to wake up here in the states and start letting there customers use there business for ecigs and juice I hope anyway. There missing out on all this business and whoever the politician was that told them not to do it they must be kicking in the ... by now I would think.

PayPal doesn't want to handle anything with age restrictions in the US. In theory, that's because they don't want their services used for illicit purposes. In reality, its because they want to avoid any and all possible investigations by law enforcement.

They walk a very fine line so they can remain totally unregulated. They're not a bank, not a finance company, not anything that requires them to follow Federal or state regulations or have to answer to any Federal or state agency.

Each year they make it onto the consumerist.com ballot for Worst Company in America.

Their tactics are revealed at paypalsucks.com and many similar sites.

Personally, I can't use their 'services' anymore since they now discriminate against people with disabilities.
